Growing up in a household where books were considered much more precious than any precious metal, I always believed in the power of knowledge and education. My father Dr. Azmat Kamal, was an ophthalmologist by profession but this didn’t really define who he was. He excelled in every field that he put his heart into. His passion showed in whatever he created. Be it his writing, his painting, his ph
otography, his surgery or a delicious meal that he cooked. He was a free spirited person who was content with what he had. His freedom of thinking came through the ever increasing knowledge base of books. He was reading multiple books at a time till he passed away on 12th Oct 2016 at an age of 68 yrs. To continue his legacy, we have created “ AZAAD”. The word AZAAD means freedom in urdu. Through education and knowledge we want to give this “gift of freedom to think” to whoever we can influence. We help out in the school fees, tuition fees, uniform, books etc of all the students enrolled in our system. Join us in our cause of giving back and help reshape not just the life of each individual student but their families too. You can contribute your time and resources in any of our programs.

To prepare our students for future careers we have started a new initiative “ AZAAD Interactive”. The objective of this initiative is to polish English language speaking and writing skills. Contribute your time for an hour every week on Fridays. Meet us for this fun class. Who says our students are the only ones who are gaining something from this session. AZAAD Library
We manage a library for our students. Due to lack of public libraries our students cherish these books alot. You can donate pre-loved books to our library. AZAAD Mentorship

We encourage the students to express themselves through art. We have monthly sessions with all our students where they are encouraged to paint, draw, sketch etc.
