To facilitate the process of creating an enabling environment for the poor to discover their realities and the support system to be sensitive for poverty eradication & to provide special medical/health facilities to the public in general.
Enlarging to help marginalized people to development process through participatory gender balanced approaches in order to achieve sustainable livelihood and to strive to eliminate poverty and sickness in Sindh, Pakistan.
Social Awareness & Health Association for Rural Areas (SAHARA) is a non-profitable, non-political and non-governmental organization with great enthusiasm to provide opportunities of education and social support to every individual of society without any disparity in the Province of Sindh. In 2009, young men voluntarily started a research job with great inspiration to bring revolutionary change in the Development Sector and Social system of the District Naushahro Feroze and to develop some effective and accelerated literacy program with National Commission for Human Development (NCHD). Fortunately, they accompanied with some well-known educational psychologist and language experts, visited far-flung, rural-urban areas and met different communities and educationist to identify the problems. Soon after this effort changed into a movement which inspired a lot of young and dedicated students who became part of this vision and spread to far-flung and hard hill areas of the District Naushahro Feroze. Mobilized and motivated the communities for acquiring literacy, skills to inline District Naushahro Feroze. The task of eradicating illiteracy demands that all active and interested parties get involved in this campaign. The achievements so far prove that the efforts are paying off. We still have a long way to go. You are invited to join our hands.
To provide best health facilities to the public in general and to work for emergencies and relief work and rehabilitation. Furthermore, to establish Mother & Child Care Centers which would benefit the women and children.
