Under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYSDP) in collaboration with the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) , trainees of Fashion Designing & Dress Making at Created Opportunities participated in an engaging practical session based on the Tie & Dye technique.

During the class, students began by working on plain fabric and applied different methods such as folding, twisting, and knotting. This process allowed them to divide the fabric into sections so that when colors were applied, unique patterns were formed where knots resisted the dye.

Students then dyed their fabrics using a variety of bright and vibrant colors. Each trainee selected color combinations based on their own creativity, resulting in beautifully diverse and eye-catching designs.

This activity helped students understand the fundamentals of textile designing and enhanced their practical skills in fabric dyeing techniques. It also encouraged creativity, experimentation, and hands-on learning.

After completing the dyeing process, the final results showcased stunning and unique patterns, clearly reflecting the creativity and hard work of the students.
