Carmen NHS proudly joined the March 12, 2026 National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) to promote earthquake preparedness and safety. With the help and support of Outfit 2081 Senior Scouts of Carmen NHS, the activity was organized smoothly, showing teamwork, discipline, and readiness in times of emergencies. Together, we stay alert, prepared, and resilient!

𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁

169 years ago, Robert Baden-Powell was born. He saw that young people can do more than they are told, and that character is shaped by the choices we make every day.

He trusted young people to stand on their own, to act with courage, and to keep their word. Scouting became the proving ground where actions, not words, define who you are, and where small choices shape a lifetime of character.

Founder’s Day reminds every Scout that leaving the world better starts with each of us. What you do, how you act, and the way you keep your word today can echo far beyond what you see.

Day 0 starts with heavy bags, tired legs, and excited smiles. We struggle a bit setting up the tents, laugh through the chaos, and already feel the stress fading away. There’s no signal, just fresh air, quiet moments, and the sound of nature around us. As the day slows down, everything feels lighter and more real. It’s only the beginning, but it already feels unforgettable — aatake sa atate. 🌲🏕️✨

⚜️ 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗢𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗮𝘄 ⚜️
"𝘈 𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘬 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦, 𝘺𝘦𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳."

From December 14–21, 2025, Outfit 2081 and 1019 took part in the 33rd Asia Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree at Camp Kainomayan, Botolan, Zambales. ⛺️🌲 The days were long, the challenges demanding, but every moment asked us to show up with courage, patience, and teamwork.

Somewhere between the modules we attended—the activities that challenged our limits, tested our patience, and pushed us to work as one—we grew. Each session carried lessons beyond the tasks themselves, teaching us discipline, leadership, resilience, and trust. Learning alongside Scouts with different stories and cultures reminded us that understanding doesn’t always need the same language, only shared values and an open heart.

Tiring as each day was, every activity left us fuller, wiser, and grateful. The lessons we gained will stay with us long after the camp ended—shaping us not only as Scouts, but as individuals ready to serve wherever we are called.

🌄 𝗘𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘂𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻; 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗽𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲, 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁.

Hiking Mt. Calib-ungan was more than a physical challenge for Outfit 2081—it was a test of patience, perseverance, and teamwork. Every uphill step pushed our limits, and every obstacle along the trail reminded us that growth often comes from moments that challenge us the most. Together, we learned to encourage one another, share the load, and keep moving forward even when the path seemed steep. ⛰️⚜️

The trail became our classroom. Each turn, each climb, and every breathtaking view offered lessons in resilience, focus, and gratitude. We realized that reaching the summit wasn’t the only victory—the journey itself taught us to value every effort, every stumble, and every small triumph along the way. 🌄

Beyond the physical challenges, the hike strengthened the bond of Outfit 2081. Sharing stories, laughter, and quiet moments amidst nature, we discovered that true connection goes beyond words—it’s built through shared experiences, trust, and mutual respect. Mt. Calib-ungan left us with lessons that will stay with us, shaping not just our Scouting journey, but the people we are becoming. ⚜️

𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀—𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁. ⚜️✨️

From early mornings to long days filled with activities, challenges, and shared responsibilities, every moment tested our limits and reminded us what it truly means to live by the Scout Oath and Law.

Through the heat, the exhaustion, and the unfamiliar, we found comfort in teamwork and strength in unity. We learned to lead and to listen, to step forward with courage, and to stand firm for one another. Laughter echoed through our campsite, lessons were learned the hard way and the meaningful way, and friendships were formed beyond borders—proof that Scouting is a global brotherhood and sisterhood.

This journey was not easy, but it was worth every step. We are grateful for the guidance of our leaders, the support of our council, and the dedication of every scout who showed up, stayed committed, and gave their best. Outfit 2081 did not just attend the jamboree—we lived it, we learned from it, and we left a part of ourselves there.

As we look back at this photo, may it remind us of how far we’ve come and how much more we can become. Always ready to serve, always ready to lead.
