Sabi nga: If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. ✨

This 'reunion season', let’s unwrap more than presents. Let’s open our hearts with kindness, respect, and understanding—gifts we can share with everyone around us.

In our relationships, let’s create safe, inclusive, and caring spaces, remembering that each person may be quietly carrying their own silent battles and untold struggles.

When we choose empathy over judgment, every gathering becomes more than a celebration, it becomes a moment filled with joy, gratitude, and heartfelt connection.

🧡 18-Day Campaign to End VAW: Together, We Make a Safer Future for All

Violence against women is not just a personal issue—it is a social injustice that affects families, communities, and the nation. As we join the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women, we affirm our collective commitment to create a society where every woman and girl can live free from fear, harm, and discrimination.

This campaign reminds us that VAW is preventable. By raising awareness, promoting respect, and challenging harmful norms, each of us can play a crucial role in breaking the cycle of violence. Ending VAW begins with listening to survivors, supporting their healing, and ensuring that justice and protection are accessible to all.

Let us stand in solidarity with women everywhere—those who have spoken out, those who continue to suffer in silence, and those working tirelessly to advocate for change. Every voice matters. Every action counts.

Today, we pledge to be part of the solution: to speak up against abuse, to promote safe spaces, and to uphold the dignity and rights of every woman.

Together, let us build a future where equality thrives and violence has no place.
End VAW. Protect women. Empower communities. 🧡✊

READ: Message of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. for the Observance of the National 18-day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW)

The observance of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW) reminds us that protecting women's rights and promoting their welfare must be a perpetual mission and advocacy. When we secure their peace and happiness, we create conditions that allow them to realize their full potential- a necessary requisite for our nation to truly grow and flourish.

The Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) remains committed to upholding women's rights and empowerment in the country. By engaging institutions and the public in campaigns such as this, you become the steadfast and dependable authority in enforcing laws and policies that champion equality and justice in our society. Your constancy encourages systems to be more humane and accountable, assuring every Filipina that her country resolutely stands with her.

To every citizen, leader, and public servant, let us strive to protect and listen to every woman, ensuring she feels and knows she is always safe, heard, and supported. I urge all our fellow citizens to set respect as the norm, make consent an everyday practice, challenge words and habits that harm, and lead with fairness, so that all may live in a harmonious and dignified society. Let us be the generation that ends the long shadow of violence and welcomes a Bagong Pilipinas where every woman walks without fear, speaks without apology, and dreams without limit.

I wish everyone a meaningful campaign.

𝑷𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒔, 𝒘𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒐𝒏 𝒂 𝒋𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒚!

The dream destination is a VAW-free country, and our commitment today determines where we will be tomorrow.

As the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) spearheads the national 18-day Campaign to End Violence Against Women, we call on every Filipino to move from awareness to action, from advocacy to activism, and from watchers to warriors.

This is more than an invitation; it is a shared national responsibility to ensure every woman and girl lives free from fear, abuse, and violence.

A VAW-free Philippines gives us the following signals for action:
• 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗣 violence against women. Women’s rights are human rights.
• 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 beyond silence. Do not judge a story you don’t fully know.
• 𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗡 with compassion. Put yourself in the shoes of victim-survivors, and champion their right to safety, dignity, and justice.

Ending VAW rests on all of us. Let us rise as one, stand UNiTEd, and build a VAW-free Philippines!
