"Fresh na Kabataan, Healthy na Bayan!"

On May 5, 2026, the TKYO Urdaneta Chapter, in partnership with the Sangguniang Kabataan of Camantiles, successfully conducted a youth health education seminar at the Brgy. Camantiles Multi-Purpose Hall. Around 50–60 young participants engaged in fun, interactive discussions on proper hygiene, handwashing, oral care, and adolescent health, led by Charmel Abenojar of the TKYO Urdaneta Chapter's Committee on Logistics.

The TKYO also distributed health kits and food to attendees, and provided school supplies to hard-to-reach areas within Barangay Camantiles. A healthy youth today means a stronger, healthier nation tomorrow.

Empowering voices. Strengthening leadership. Building connections. ✨

The Talindeg Kalangueran Youth Organization – Urdaneta Chapter initiated a youth consultation meeting with the student leaders of Urdaneta City University anchored with the theme "Para sa Kabataan: Pagsibol ng Talino at Galing", hosted by Samantha Olino and John Lorden Esperal.

Jeffrey M. Caoile, the adviser of the University Student Council formally welcomed the Talindeg Kalangueran to the university, followed by the opening remarks of the University Student Council President, Ms. Althea Kate Menzon, who acknowledged the presence and importance of the student leaders of UCU.

Timothy Bravo, the Convenor of TKYO, began the session by briefly discussing the history and roots of Talindeg Kalangueran. This was followed by a talk on Student Leadership delivered by Matt Weiser C. Paulmino, Chapter Head of TKYO Urdaneta. In his discussion, he highlighted the quote by Daryl Pasion, “Stop telling our kids to dream high,” encouraging student leaders to reflect on the deeper meaning of dreaming high versus dreaming deep.

Charmel Abenojar and Miracle Alcantara facilitated a group activity covering topics such as youth empowerment, youth leadership, women empowerment, and the history of Pangasinan, Urdaneta City, and Urdaneta City University. Group 4, Urdaneta Gracious Conquers, emerged as the winner of the activity and also secured the Best Presenter awarded to Perry Dwyane Obedoza.

The consultation meeting was led by Matt Weiser and Timothy Bravo, where they addressed the concerns and challenges encountered by the student leaders of Urdaneta City University. They emphasized that true leadership is grounded in integrity, guided by kindness, and strengthened by compassion.

In the end, they reminded everyone that leadership is not defined by titles or recognition, but by the courage to stand for what is right, the heart to serve others selflessly, and the commitment to create meaningful change even when no one is watching.
