WHY: MIDTERM EXAMINATIONS

On 30 August 2026, from 0700H to 0800H, the Basic Cadets conducted the HARAP-HARAPAN and PANIG-PANIGAN drills at the field, strengthening their discipline, coordination, proper bearing, and fundamental military movements.
From 0800H to 0900H, MSG Ferdinand P. Furtuito (Ret) PA, Tactical NCO, together with active the GMA' s, instructed the Basic Cadets on the proper ex*****on of PASAMAHID, emphasizing correct movement, discipline, synchronization, and attention to detail.
Following the training, the cadets were given time for a water break and snacks before proceeding to the next activity.
At 1030H to 1100H, the Basic Cadets took their ROTC Midterm Examination at the gymnasium, assessing their knowledge and understanding of the lessons and training covered during the first semester.

WHY: Discipline is built through dedication and continuous training.

On 23 August 2026, as part of the First Semester Training of the Villaflores College Army ROTC, The basic cadets successfully conducted a series of structured military training activities designed to develop discipline, coordination, proper bearing, teamwork, and strong values among the cadets.

The training commenced at 0700H on the field with the conduct of Harap-Harapan and Panig-Panigan, where the Basic Cadets practiced fundamental military movements, proper positioning, coordination, alertness, and responsiveness to commands. These exercises served as an essential foundation in developing uniformity, discipline, and confidence in formation.

At 0915H, the cadets were given a 10-minute water break to maintain hydration and readiness before continuing with the next training activity.

Following the break, MSG Ferdinand P. Furtuito (Ret.) PA, Tactical NCO, conducted a lecture and practical discussion on Drills and Ceremonies. The session focused on the importance of proper ex*****on, precision, discipline, synchronization, and obedience to commands. The activity concluded at 1000H, providing the cadets with valuable knowledge and practical understanding of military customs and procedures.

At 1020H, after a 15-minute break for snacks and personal necessities, Pvt. Chris Jacob Z. Malco conducted Values Education. The session emphasized the importance of good character, discipline, respect, responsibility, integrity, teamwork, and commitment values that every cadet must develop both inside and outside the training environment.

The day's activities concluded at 1100H, marking another productive training session for the
Basic Cadets. Through continuous training, instruction, and character development, the cadets are progressively prepared to become disciplined, responsible, and service-oriented individuals.

On 020800H August 2026, Cadettes devoted two hours of intensive Harap-Harapan Drill Practice on the field, strengthening their precision, teamwork, and military bearing. Following the practical exercise, CO2CL Ralph Vincent Siaboc conducted a discussion on the Code of Citizenship and Ethics, and also CO2CL Rocky R. Duran delivered an informative lecture on the Core Values, emphasizing integrity, patriotism, and selfless service.
