𝑨𝒏𝒈 𝒎𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒚 𝒏𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝒅𝒂𝒉𝒊𝒍 𝒔𝒂’𝒚𝒐.” 🇵🇭

Today, on the 30th of december, we commemorate the martyrdom of our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, whose ultimate sacrifice ignited the Filipino people’s enduring struggle for freedom 🕊️. As expressed in the words of our national anthem, “Ang mamatay nang dahil sa’yo,” Rizal devoted his life—and ultimately his death—to the love of country, offering not violence, but his intellect, principles, and unwavering patriotism.

His death reminds us that the liberty we now enjoy was achieved through courage, wisdom, and selfless devotion to the nation. It is therefore our responsibility, especially as members of the younger generation, to safeguard this freedom by using our brainpower responsibly—through education, critical thinking, and active citizenship 📚. As Rizal himself declared, “Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan,” and it is through our actions that his vision for a progressive and sovereign Philippines may continue to live on ✨.
