Our Heneral Scouts proudly participated in the 2026 Philippine Veterans Week and the 84th Araw ng Kagitingan commemorative ceremonies.

They attended the Sunrise Ceremony, Wreath Laying, Flag Raising, and Sunset Ceremony held at Libingan ng mga Bayani, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

📢 𝙎𝙀𝙈𝙄𝙉𝘼𝙍 𝙊𝙉 𝙋𝙍𝙊𝙅𝙀𝘾𝙏 𝙍𝙀𝘼𝘿𝙔 & 𝘽𝘼𝙎𝙄𝘾 𝙇𝙄𝙁𝙀 𝙎𝙐𝙋𝙋𝙊𝙍𝙏❗❗

On March 21, 2026, at General Ricardo G. Papa Senior Memorial High School – MAIN, a seminar on Project 𝗥.𝗘.𝗔.𝗗.𝗬 (Resistance Education Against Drugs for the Youth) together with a Lecture on Basic Life Support was successfully conducted for the students.

The activity was led by 𝙋𝙇𝙏 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙣 𝙁. 𝘽𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙖𝙜 and 𝙋𝘾𝙋𝙏 𝙍𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙃𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙋. 𝘿𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙙𝙤𝙡, who shared important knowledge about drug awareness, prevention, and life-saving skills to help the youth become more responsible, prepared, and disciplined individuals.

Unity in Action: Heneral Senior Scouts Excel at Skill-O-Rama and Sports Fest

GRPMHS-Main School Grounds – The spirit of camaraderie and scouting excellence came alive today as 56 dedicated Heneral Senior Scouts gathered for the highly anticipated Skill-O-Rama and Sports Fest. The event served as a rigorous testing ground for both technical scouting proficiency and athletic endurance.

A Foundation of Leadership
Under the guidance of Principal Dr. Angelita C. Buenafe, the event kicked off with an atmosphere of discipline and excitement. The program was meticulously organized by a dedicated team of Outfit Advisors, ensuring that every scout had the opportunity to showcase their growth in the scouting movement.

Mastering the Essentials: The Skill-O-Rama
The sessions focused on the core pillars of scouting. Align Laurence P. Maravillas challenged the scouts' intellect as the moderator for the Scouting Quiz Bee, while hands-on technical stations saw scouts putting their field knowledge to the test:

Knot Tying and Pioneering: Led by Adam Y. Arbuis, scouts demonstrated precision in lashing and structural rigging.

First Aid: Under the supervision of Ryant Jay N. Achivida, participants practiced life-saving maneuvers and emergency response.

Semaphore: Jayson F. Antones guided the scouts in the traditional art of flag signaling, emphasizing the importance of communication in the field.

The Thrill of Competition: Sports Fest
The focus shifted to the school courts for the Sports Fest. The "Henerals" displayed remarkable sportsmanship across several disciplines:

The Basketball and Volleyball courts saw intense action, officiated by Bryan V. Gaviola and Peejay M. Ceremonia, respectively.

On the Badminton courts, scouts displayed agility and focus under the watchful eyes of May M. Marasigan and Marilou Martinez.

The success of the day was bolstered by the seamless coordination of the support staff, including Marilyn M. Mondero, Kristoffer Jones D. Portugal, Marvin Jimenez, and Melba Palattao, whose logistical assistance kept the activities running on schedule.

By the end of the day, the 56 participants left the GRPMHS-Main School Grounds not just with medals or certificates, but with a renewed sense of the Scout Oath. The Skill-O-Rama and Sports Fest proved that a Heneral Senior Scout is indeed "Laging Handa"—prepared in mind, body, and spirit.

We are proud to announce that on February 24, 2026, six dedicated scouts from Heneral Scouts successfully completed their First Aid Merit Badge Counseling under the expert guidance of 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐉𝐚𝐲 𝐍. 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐚 — 𝐁𝐓𝐂.

This milestone reflects the scouts’ commitment to the Scouting principle of “Be Prepared” — equipping them with essential life-saving knowledge and practical skills that can make a difference in real emergencies. From proper wound care, bandaging techniques, and emergency response procedures, these young leaders are now better prepared to serve their families, school, and community.

Milo is a courageous tooth-inspired hero who represents Taguig City's strong commitment to dental health awareness. Wearing red and pink to embody the city's official colors, he proudly carries his toothbrush and toothpaste as symbols of discipline and responsibility. With his calm and dependable personality, Milo motivates children to practice proper brushing habits, prevent cavities, and become confident ambassadors of healthy and happy smiles in the community.

𝗠𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗬 (Female Mascot)
Molly is a vibrant tooth-inspired advocate designed to reflect Taguig City's dedication to promoting excellent oral hygiene among the youth. Dressed in red and pink to represent unity and care, she carries her toothbrush as a symbol of daily commitment to dental wellness. Cheerful and inspiring, Molly encourages children to brush for two minutes, maintain clean teeth, and proudly shine with bright, healthy smiles every day.
