On September 19, Friday, grade 10 students of sections Diamond and Amethyst participated in the Seminar of PROJECT R.E.A.D.Y (Resistance Education Against Drugs For The Youth). Students discovered how to make a good and right decision. Also, discussion and activities helped them to understand the different types of drugs and the consequences and effects of using illegal drugs physically and mentally. This seminar provided an opportunity to students to gain knowledge and awareness. It also helped them to make right choices and to be always READY.

February 13, 2025, Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Western Bicutan National High School (WBNHS), successfully held its second seminar this school year — "Taguig City School Seminar On The Ill Effects of Dangerous Drugs" spoke by Ms. Jamie Sescon. This seminar served as a vital step in educating Westernians with the knowledge about drugs, misconceptions about drugs, influences why people are using and abusing drugs, and the ill effects of drugs.

We are deeply grateful to to Mr. Santiago Alvis, our Principal, Mapeh Department Head Mrs. Josephine P. Oliveros, Mrs. Monaliza Mesa, Mrs. Joyce Cueva, Mr. Aaron John Lachauna, Taguig Anti-Drug Abuse Office (TADAO) staffs, to Mrs. Gemith Louise Dela Cruz, BKD Adviser, to our BKD Officers, and to everyone who participated and contributed to this meaningful seminar. Together, let us remain steadfast in our mission— to build a Drug Free Community.
