☕ We held our 43rd Dev8 Sync in Espazio Arts + Cafe, Tacloban City last July 25, 2026 in partnership with Espazio Arts + History. Dev8 holds these casual gatherings once a month to talk about everything, from programming to life experiences, as we relax and get to know each other better.

📖 DEV8 CONDUCTS ITS FIRST INTERNAL STUDY GROUP SESSION 📖

📚 Last August 22, 2026, Marlon Guao and Shann Ripalda led an internal study group session attended by Patricia Husain, Paul Notorio, John Durante, Mark Alueta, Sean Fabia, and Jan Dacallos. The session dealt with the first chapter of the "Bash Guide for Beginners" book. The next session will deal with writing and debugging Bash scripts.

☕ Our 43rd Dev8 Sync will be in Tacloban City on August 22, 2026 at 1PM. Our meetups are casual gatherings in select locations, usually in cafes. We talk about everything, from programming to life experiences, as we relax and get to know each other better.

⚡ We're open to hosting any lightning talks from anyone joining the meetup. Participants will also get a chance to earn or win Dev8 stickers just by joining the conversation.

☕ We held our 42nd Dev8 Sync in Sheku Cafe, Tacloban City last July 25, 2026 in partnership with Sheku Cafe. Dev8 holds these casual gatherings once a month to talk about everything, from programming to life experiences, as we relax and get to know each other better.

🎤 In the last meet-up, Kenneth Lanante talked about Paytaca's upcoming Cash 3.0 Conference in Cebu and their OpenCode plugin. Sean Ballais led a resume review to help improve the quality of the resumes brought with the rest of the participants reading, reviewing, and sharing the resumes that were brought. Finally, Armeliz Capawing and Chrivin Omega discussed the local tech ecosystems of Catarman and Biliran province, respectively.
