Official Announcement

Good day to our beloved community, alumni, and supporters!

Dulaang Oyayi Theater Arts (DOTA) is pleased to announce that this is now our new and official page.
After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to transition to this new platform, a step we take with the full support and approval of our dear alumni and current members.

Due to a lack of proper turnover over the past few years, WE NO LONGER HAVE ACCESS TO THE ACCOUNT WITH FULL ADMINISTRATIVE CONTROL OVER OUR PREVIOUS FACEBOOK PAGE, AND OUR PARTIAL ACCESS PREVENTS US FROM ADDING NEW ADMINISTRATORS. Consequently, if the primary account cannot be recovered, the old page faces the risk of automatic deactivation and scheduled deletion.

Despite this unresolved issue, we intend to keep the previous page—for as long as it remains active—as a treasured archive of all the unforgettable events, activities, and milestones DOTA has achieved throughout the years.

We warmly invite everyone to like, follow, and share this new page to stay updated on our future endeavors, performances, and announcements. Thank you for your continuous love, understanding, and unwavering support for Dulaang Oyayi Theater Arts!

Reliving the long hours, hazy frames, and the absolute dedication it took to bring "𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗹 𝗞𝗶𝘁𝗮, 𝗔𝗟(𝗶𝘆)" to life during our shoot last March. From the campus corridors to the bright lights of the arcade, every frame was a labor of love.

Last May 28, the cursed doors of TABING NG TAKOT opened for PUPSPC Funday 2026, and it was a terrifyingly massive success!

A huge round of applause to everyone who made it happen!

To our terrifying cast, take a bow—your chilling performances truly brought the nightmare to life. And to our incredible crew, your hard work behind the scenes made this flawless operation a reality.

Narito ang ilang mga tagpo mula sa ating naging pagtatanghal sa 3𝙧𝙙 𝘼𝙘𝙩 𝘼𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙪𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙁𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙡. Mula sa iskrip, preparasyon, hanggang sa pagtanghal nito sa entablado, ibinuhos ng ating mga aktor ang kanilang puso upang bigyang-buhay ang isang kuwentong sumasalamin sa ating reyalidad.

Here is our official performance piece for 𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙜𝙪𝙞𝙩𝙖 𝘽𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙢𝙨 2.0, performed right at the San Pedro City Plaza!

We wanted to create more than just a routine—we wanted to tell the colorful story. Our piece begins with a fun, vlogger-style tour that highlights the true pride of San Pedro. From the fragrant Sampaguita vendors that represent our city’s rich livelihood and history, to iconic local spots like Mashang's, Universal Bakery, and the deep devotion at Lolo Uweng, we made sure to put the soul of the city on stage before the beat even dropped.

🎭𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩:: Traditional Roots, Modern Energy

Following the festival's vision to celebrate heritage through creative fusion, our choreography was designed to bridge the gap between generations. You’ll see traditional Filipino dance movements seamlessly blended with sharp, high-energy modern styles.

This piece is our tribute to the rich history and vibrant tourism of San Pedro. It is a reflection of us—the youth—honoring the cultural legacy of the Sampaguita while stepping boldly into the modern spotlight to show what we can do.
