Empathy in action 🤝 Resilience in unity 💪 Healing together 💚

On January 12, 2026, NEMSU–San Miguel Campus successfully conducted a Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Session (MHPSS) in response to the effects of Bagyong Basyang 🌧️🌪️, providing students with a safe and supportive space for emotional recovery and stress relief 🧠✨

Led by Ms. Sunshine C. Galdiano, Guidance Counselor, together with the Peer Facilitators’ Circle 👥, the session encouraged emotional expression, peer support, and healthy coping strategies. Through meaningful messages and collaborative activities, students were reminded that they are not alone in their journey toward healing.

🧠💙 Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Preparation

On February 11, 2026, the Peer Facilitators' Circle of NEMSU – San Miguel Campus conducted a preparatory meeting at the Guidance Office under the supervision and guidance of Ma’am Sunshine C. Galdiano in preparation for the upcoming MHPSS initiatives.

The meeting focused on planning strategies, clarifying objectives, and assigning roles to ensure the Psychosocial Support Session effectively addresses the emotional and psychological needs of our students. Through collaboration and proper guidance, the organization continues to strengthen its commitment to promoting mental health awareness and fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive campus environment. 🤝✨
