🌱 Planting Hope, Growing a Greener Future 🌱

The Rotary Club of San Marcelino proudly joined the tree planting activity spearheaded by the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Zambales Chapter, led by President Angelito Orozco, together with fellow civil society organizations and partners.

Held at Kurukutok, Cawag, Subic, Zambales, the activity gathered more than 50 volunteers from the Rotary Club of San Marcelino, Rotary Club of Subic Sunrise, Rotary Club of Olongapo Centennial, JCI Olongapo, DENR, and other community partners.

Together, we planted 200 tree seedlings, taking another meaningful step toward environmental stewardship and a more sustainable future for the next generation.

After a meaningful day of planting and service, the Rotary Club of San Marcelino prepared warm bowls of arroz caldo to provide our volunteers with a hearty meal and a moment of fellowship.

Every seedling planted today is a promise of cleaner air, healthier ecosystems, and stronger communities tomorrow.

A Symbol of Service, A Commitment to Community

Yesterday marked a beautiful milestone for the Rotary Club of San Marcelino headed by Pres. Arthmin Macalinao Rivera. We officially held the ribbon-cutting ceremony for our brand-new Rotary Marker—a standing testament to our dedication to "Service Above Self."

This marker isn't just stone and metal; it represents our enduring promise to uplift, support, and grow alongside the people of San Marcelino.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Capt. Rizalino Ragadio, Hon. Kgd. Lilibeth Ballon and Hon. Kgd. Mercy Silvestre of Barangay Burgos for graciously assisting us and for their unwavering support of our vision.

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the Local Government Unit of San Marcelino, headed by Mayor Elvis Soria, for approving the installation of this Rotary Marker. Your support strengthens our shared commitment to community development and meaningful service.

Bayanihan in Action: Empowering the Future of Laoag Integrated School headed by hardworking School Head Doc Jane Pantaleon Jose.

Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world. In line with Rotary’s Area of Focus on Basic Education and Literacy, we are proud to support BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026!

Together with our dedicated leaders, Pres. Arthmin Macalinao Rivera, PP Christian La Torre and PE Reg Dancel, we successfully turned over essential school supplies and cash donations to support 50 indigent learners of Laoag Integrated School.

Our goal is simple: to ensure that these bright young minds have the tools they need to learn, grow, and succeed this coming school year. A huge thank you to everyone who made this possible especially to Madam Rosela Polante , Sir Jeffrey Muega and Sir Raffy De Jesus. Together, we are creating hope and building a better tomorrow!

“Nurturing Mothers, Building Futures”

The Rotary Club of San Marcelo, led by our dedicated President Arthmin Macalinao Rivera, was deeply honored to support the LGU and RHU’s wonderful event: SAFE MOTHERHOOD & The Search for Buntis Congress 2026!

As part of Rotary’s 7 Areas of Focus, our commitment to Maternal and Child Health remains a top priority. To show our love and support for the amazing expectant mothers in our community, the RCSM family joyfully prepared and donated 150 bowls of warm, nutritious arroz caldo for all the participants and event members.

A huge thank you to Hon. SBM Lala Aquino and also our President-Nominee for inviting us to be part of this meaningful cause and for always stepping up to serve!

Together, we are ensuring safer pregnancies and healthier tomorrows for San Marcelino.

Special thanks to PP Chriz Xean Errotal , Kylie La Torre and BNS SAN MARCELINO for assisting us in the preparation and distribution and also to Juvy La Torre Piga our official cook for a very delicious arozcaldo.
