The UAS Mapping Forum 2017

The UAS Mapping Forum will be held on 29 July 2017 (1:00 PM onwards) at the GE Theater, Melchor Hall, University of the Philippines. This is organized by the UP Department of Geodetic Engineering (UP DGE), UP Training Center for Applied Geodesy and Photogrammetry (UP TCAGP) and the Unmanned Aerial Systems Mapping Association of the Philippines (U-MAP). This Forum is part of the 80th Anniversary Celebration of UP DGE.

Due to limited seats, pre-registration is required. Pre-registration will be closed on 12NN, 27 July 2017. A token registration of PhP 200.00 may be charged to cover snack and other expenses.

Dutch online drone store posts for sale new, yet to be officially launched DJI drone called the "DJI Wind 1". A weatherproof quadcopter form factor drone for commercial and industrial applications. It sells for around PhP 432,000.00 without taxes (EU).

It flies with two DJI TB48D batteries, which is the same model for the DJI Matrice series of drones. And comes with it's own specially made hard case. And can accept DJI Zenmuse cameras such as the X3, X5, Z3 (Zoom) and XT (FLIR).
