CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA — October 15, 2026 — The Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (PamCham), in partnership with the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office III (DA RFO 3), brought together stakeholders from the public and private sectors for the 1st Food Summit 2026: Aldo Ning Ortilanu, held at the LausGroup Event Centre in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

Organized through PamCham’s Food Security Committee, under the leadership of Director-in-Charge Dr. Robert H. Lo, the summit aimed to strengthen collaboration across the agricultural value chain, promote food security, and expand market opportunities for local farmers and fisherfolk.

The event highlighted the vital role of farmers and fisherfolk in ensuring a stable food supply while providing opportunities for them to connect directly with potential buyers, suppliers, and other industry stakeholders. Through these market linkages, the summit sought to help agricultural producers reach wider markets and improve access to sustainable business opportunities.

Exhibitors also showcased food products, beverages, and other agricultural goods from farmer associations across the region. Participating government agencies, agricultural service providers, and financial institutions presented programs, services, and financing opportunities that could help farmers improve productivity, strengthen their enterprises, and access resources for growth.

Through this initiative, PamCham reaffirmed its commitment to fostering public-private sector partnerships that support the agricultural community, strengthen local food systems, and contribute to inclusive and sustainable economic development in Pampanga and Central Luzon.

The 1st Food Summit 2026: Aldo Ning Ortilanu underscores the importance of bringing farmers, businesses, government agencies, and financial institutions together to build stronger connections between agricultural production and the market—helping create a more resilient and sustainable food sector.
