𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦, 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐕𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞

The Bachelor of Secondary Education once again proved that its talents extend far beyond the four walls of the classroom.

Stephanie Ibay and Sam Nathaniel Lucero emerged victorious at the recent Salip Iti Sirib 2026 of DMMMSU-MLUC, clinching 1st Place in Kundiman and Pop Solo, respectively.

With every note, they showed that the voices of future educators are not only meant to be heard in classrooms—they can also command a stage, move an audience, and leave a mark across the MLUC community.

Their victories now open another chapter in their journey, as Ibay and Lucero are set to carry the MLUC banner to the university-level competition later this year.

More than medals and titles, their achievement reflects the talent, discipline, and confidence that continue to define the BSEd community.

Stephanie and Sam, your voices made BSEd proud.

Congratulations on this well-deserved victory, and may your voices continue to resonate on an even bigger stage. 🎶🏆

Five years. One continuing legacy. And once again, BSEd found its way into the spotlight.

On September 24, 2026, the Bachelor of Secondary Education once again carried its name proudly onto the MLUC pageant stage as 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐎. 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐝 represented the program at 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐌𝐌𝐌𝐒𝐔-𝐌𝐋𝐔𝐂 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐔𝐂 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

Armed with wit, confidence, undeniable stage presence, a striking face card, and a commanding pasarela, Madrid captivated the selection committee and emerged as 𝐌𝐫. 𝐃𝐌𝐌𝐌𝐒𝐔-𝐌𝐋𝐔𝐂 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔—keeping BSEd’s remarkable five-year streak in the MLUC pageant alive.

But Justine did not leave the stage with only one recognition. He also secured:

Behind the lights, applause, and awards was a journey built on preparation and perseverance. Justine’s success also reflects the dedication of his coaches, Eiron James Abalos, Marvin Perez, and Cayle Jimuel de Guzman, together with the unwavering support of BSEd Program Chair Dr. Vanessa P. Cayabyab.

More than another pageant achievement, Justine’s journey became another chapter in a legacy that BSEd representatives have continued to build through the years.
