During the La Union Youth Excellence and Service (YES) Awards, the Philippine Red Cross Youth, La Union Chapter proudly celebrated an evening that honored achievement, service, and the inspiring leadership of young people. Among the recognitions received, Earth Dash stood out as a powerful example of what youth-led action can accomplish.

Earth Dash received the Best Youth Organization Project award for its meaningful, youth-led approach to promoting environmental awareness, active participation, and community action. This recognition reflects how a shared vision can grow into a purposeful initiative with lasting value.
Through Earth Dash, the Red Cross Youth, La Union Chapter showed how young volunteers can transform environmental advocacy into concrete and purposeful action. By creating opportunities to participate, collaborate, and contribute, the project deepened environmental awareness and encouraged a shared responsibility for protecting our planet. These efforts made Earth Dash more than a project because it became a reflection of youth leadership and volunteerism. It demonstrated that when young people are trusted and empowered to act, they can bring communities together and help shape a more sustainable future.
For this reason, the award also celebrates the dedication, creativity, teamwork, and spirit of service of every person who helped make Earth Dash possible.

Although the title was awarded to others, King Joshua and Tristan have already shown that true leadership is not defined by recognition alone.
