This Independence Day, we celebrate a nation free to grow, dream, and thrive. Yet with that freedom comes a quiet responsibility: to care for the forests that shelter us, the waters that sustain us, and the land that tells the story of who we are.

The Philippines stands free. May our love for this nation be reflected not only in remembrance and celebration, but in the quiet promise to protect the earth that keeps its heart beating and to become worthy stewards of the environment that continues to breathe life into our home.

Because preserving our home is also an act of patriotism.
