The Boy Scouts of the Philippines – Quirino Council proudly joins the CABataan Camp cm Earth Hour 2026 organized by the Quirinian Students' Organization - QSU Cabarroguis Chapter, held at Balitbitan Peak & Campsite, Kalayaan Trail, Capitol Hills on March 28-29, 2026.

With hearts committed to service and stewardship, our Scouts stand alongside fellow CABataan in promoting environmental awareness, youth leadership, and collective action for a greener and more sustainable future. Through activities such as tree planting, survival camping, and the meaningful observance of Earth Hour, this gathering becomes more than just a camp—it is a movement of empowered young leaders taking responsibility for the world we share.

As Scouts, we remain guided by our promise to help other people at all times and to protect the environment. This collaboration strengthens not only our skills and camaraderie but also our shared mission of building a better tomorrow.

The Boy Scouts of the Philippines – Quirino Council proudly participated in the recently concluded 2026 Northeastern Regional Scout Youth Forum held on March 11–13, 2026 at the SDO Cauayan Function Hall in Cauayan City, Isabela.

Representing the youth of Quirino Province, the council delegates actively engaged in discussions, leadership activities, and collaborative sessions aimed at strengthening youth participation and advancing the Scouting movement in the region.

The Council delegation was composed of the following youth representatives:
• Council Scout Representative (CSR 1): Sct. Tristan Ancheta (SNHS)
• Council Scout Representative (CSR 2): Sct. Russel Andrei Dela Cruz (MCHS)
• Voting Delegate (VD): Sct. Zain Lawrence Vicmudo (SNHS)
• Observers (OBS): Sct. Rodencen Danao (MCHS), Sct. Shejan Quiel Castillo (SNHS), and Sct. Prince Alex Mariñas (SNHS)

The delegation was accompanied by dedicated adult leaders namley SL Virgilio Sisalbo, Jr., Deputy Commissioner on Senior Scouting, and SL Reymark Luna.

Their participation in the forum highlights the commitment of the BSP Quirino Council to empower young Scouts, promote leadership development, and ensure that the voices of the youth are actively represented in regional Scouting initiatives.

This engagement continues to strengthen collaboration among councils and inspire young leaders to contribute meaningfully to the growth and sustainability of Scouting in the Northeastern Luzon Region.

The Scout Youth Forum 2026 of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines – Quirino Council was successfully conducted from February 27 to March 1, 2026, marking another significant chapter in strengthening youth participation and leadership within the Council.

This year’s forum became even more historic as the Maddela District and Nagtipunan District marked their first-ever participation in the Council Scout Youth Forum, symbolizing a growing and more inclusive Scouting movement across the province of Quirino.

The opening program was held at QPSTERA Hall, Schools Division Office of Quirino, and was graced by distinguished leaders of the Council. Among those present were Hon. Julius Caesar Vaquilar, Council Chairman and Provincial Vice Governor, Dr. Fely Manuel, OIC Council Scout Executive, together with members of the Local Council Executive Board who continue to guide and support the development of young Scout leaders in the province.

The forum was guided by SL Nolyn Paclarin, serving as the Forum Adviser, who formally introduced the Organizing Committee for this year’s activity led by VS Jezreel Pujeda as Organizing Committee Chairman. Through their leadership and collective effort, the forum became a vibrant platform for dialogue, fellowship, and leadership formation among young Scouts from different districts of the Council.

Throughout the three-day gathering, participants engaged in meaningful and exciting activities that strengthened camaraderie and Scout values. Among the highlights were the traditional Campfire Program, the environmental initiative Project SINOP conducted along the vicinity of the Schools Division Office of Quirino, the lively Socials Night, and the Crew Presentations where delegates showcased their creativity, unity, and Scout spirit. These activities not only fostered teamwork and leadership but also strengthened the bonds among Scouts representing different schools and districts.

The forum culminated with the election of the Council Scout Representatives who will represent Quirino Council in the upcoming Northeastern Luzon Regional Scout Youth Forum 2026 to be hosted by the Boy Scouts of the Philippines – Cauayan City Associate Council on March 11–13, 2026 at the Schools Division Office of Cauayan Function Hall, Turayong, Cauayan City, Isabela.

Elected as Council Scout Representatives were Sct. Alpha Pujeda of Saguday National High School and Sct. Ruzzel Andrei Dela Cruz of Maddela Comprehensive High School. Meanwhile, Sct. Marc Fritz Zamora of Diffun National High School was nominated as Voting Delegate, while Sct. Rodencen Danao of Maddela Comprehensive High School and Sct. Prince Alex Mariñas of Saguday National High School were nominated as Observers.

As the forum concluded, it left behind not only memories of fellowship and leadership but also a renewed commitment among Quirinian Scouts to continue serving their communities with integrity, courage, and dedication. Indeed, the Scout Youth Forum 2026 stands as a testament to the power of youth voices in shaping the future of Scouting in Quirino.

Prominently overlaid within the shield is the iconic 𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐮𝐫-𝐝𝐞-𝐥𝐢𝐬 of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, a timeless symbol of global Scouting brotherhood and adherence to the Scout Oath and Law.

Integrated with the fleur-de-lis is the 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐥 of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines – Quirino Council, signifying local pride and the strong foundation of Scouting in the province.

A 𝐠𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥 is positioned across the emblem, representing governance, youth participation, and democratic leadership. It highlights the essence of the Scout Youth Forum as a platform where young leaders exercise their voice, engage in meaningful dialogue, and take part in decision-making processes that shape programs and initiatives within the Council.
