The Scout Youth Forum 2026 of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines โ Quirino Council was successfully conducted from February 27 to March 1, 2026, marking another significant chapter in strengthening youth participation and leadership within the Council.
This yearโs forum became even more historic as the Maddela District and Nagtipunan District marked their first-ever participation in the Council Scout Youth Forum, symbolizing a growing and more inclusive Scouting movement across the province of Quirino.
The opening program was held at QPSTERA Hall, Schools Division Office of Quirino, and was graced by distinguished leaders of the Council. Among those present were Hon. Julius Caesar Vaquilar, Council Chairman and Provincial Vice Governor, Dr. Fely Manuel, OIC Council Scout Executive, together with members of the Local Council Executive Board who continue to guide and support the development of young Scout leaders in the province.
The forum was guided by SL Nolyn Paclarin, serving as the Forum Adviser, who formally introduced the Organizing Committee for this yearโs activity led by VS Jezreel Pujeda as Organizing Committee Chairman. Through their leadership and collective effort, the forum became a vibrant platform for dialogue, fellowship, and leadership formation among young Scouts from different districts of the Council.
Throughout the three-day gathering, participants engaged in meaningful and exciting activities that strengthened camaraderie and Scout values. Among the highlights were the traditional Campfire Program, the environmental initiative Project SINOP conducted along the vicinity of the Schools Division Office of Quirino, the lively Socials Night, and the Crew Presentations where delegates showcased their creativity, unity, and Scout spirit. These activities not only fostered teamwork and leadership but also strengthened the bonds among Scouts representing different schools and districts.
The forum culminated with the election of the Council Scout Representatives who will represent Quirino Council in the upcoming Northeastern Luzon Regional Scout Youth Forum 2026 to be hosted by the Boy Scouts of the Philippines โ Cauayan City Associate Council on March 11โ13, 2026 at the Schools Division Office of Cauayan Function Hall, Turayong, Cauayan City, Isabela.
Elected as Council Scout Representatives were Sct. Alpha Pujeda of Saguday National High School and Sct. Ruzzel Andrei Dela Cruz of Maddela Comprehensive High School. Meanwhile, Sct. Marc Fritz Zamora of Diffun National High School was nominated as Voting Delegate, while Sct. Rodencen Danao of Maddela Comprehensive High School and Sct. Prince Alex Mariรฑas of Saguday National High School were nominated as Observers.
As the forum concluded, it left behind not only memories of fellowship and leadership but also a renewed commitment among Quirinian Scouts to continue serving their communities with integrity, courage, and dedication. Indeed, the Scout Youth Forum 2026 stands as a testament to the power of youth voices in shaping the future of Scouting in Quirino.
