𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗: 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗖

The Scouts Commission on Elections (SCOMELEC) issues this statement to affirm the constitutionality and legitimacy of Scout Executive Order No. 001, Series of 2026, regarding the extension of the Senior Crew Leader’s term and the re-appointment of the Assistant Senior Crew Leader for Scouting Year 2026–2027.

These provisions are fully consistent with the Constitution and By-Laws of the BSP – Quirino General High School Outfit No. 1107, and are administrative in nature, intended to ensure continuity of leadership and organizational stability.

The SCOMELEC emphasizes that these actions do not interfere with the independence, fairness, or integrity of the upcoming Scouts Elections for Outfit Scribe, Outfit Treasurer, and Outfit Quartermaster, which will proceed in accordance with Article XIV of the Constitution.

The SCOMELEC fully supports the SEO-001s.2026 as legitimate and constitutional, upholding the governance framework and the principles of peace, truth, transparency, and democracy within the Outfit.

📅 Filing of Certificates of Candidacy:
January 16, 2026 (Friday)

📣 The official election calendar and final list of candidates shall be posted by the QGHS Scouts Commission on Elections (SCOMELEC) page, after the validation of all Certificates of Candidacy.
