PUBLIC NOTICE
The INTERNATIONAL FRATERNAL ORDER OF EAGLES PHILIPPINE EAGLES (IFOE) has formally issued a demand letter to an entity whose corporate name is substantially and confusingly similar to ours. This action is based on Section 18 of the Corporation Code and supported by Supreme Court jurisprudence, emphasizing the public’s protection from misleading affiliations.
Our organization, duly registered with the SEC on 17 February 2025, holds prior rights to our corporate name. The use of similar dominant terms by another entity—despite descriptive additions—has caused confusion and misrepresentation.
We have demanded that the concerned party cease and desist from using the infringing name and file for a corporate name change with the SEC within 10 calendar days. Failure to comply will result in legal action, including a petition for name change, de-registration, and other remedies.
This notice is issued to protect the integrity of our organization and to inform the public of ongoing steps to uphold our identity.
