128th Philippine Independence Day Heritage Walk๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

After the Flag Raising Ceremony at the Independence Flagpole, Luneta Park, Manila, Scouts attended the organized 1st Scout Heritage Walk of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines - National Capital Region around the historical park.

The activity, in commemoration of the 128th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence, gave the scouts the opportunity to understand the significance of the honoring our nation's history and reflect on the values that continue to guide us as Filipinos and to appreciate deeply the independence that we enjoy now.

Rover Scouts of Pinagbuhatan High School joined the nation in the celebration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day through a Flag Raising Ceremony held on June 12, 2026 at the Independence Flag Pole, Rizal Park Manila.

The celebration was graced by HE Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., President of the Republic of the Philippines and Chief Scout of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, who led the commemoration in honoring the courage, sacrifices, and legacy of Filipino heroes who fought for the countryโ€™s sovereignty and freedom.

Today, June 8th, the Rover Scouts of Circle 04 led the Flag Raising Ceremony at Pinagbuhatan High School, marking the start of the School Year 2026-2027. It was an honor to start the school year by rendering service to our school.

As a sign of unity and solidarity for the Brigada Eskwela program of the Department of Education from June 1-5, 2026, Rover Scouts of Circle 04 proudly took part in various activities aimed for preparing the school for cleanliness and orderliness for the upcoming opening of School Year 2026-2027 ๐Ÿงน

Through teamwork, volunteerism, and brotherhood, our Rover Scouts worked hand in hand in support of the DepEd's Brigada Eskwela program, demonstrating our commitment to community service and educational development.

As we observe National Flag Days from May 28 to June 12, the PHS Rover Scouts proudly joins the nation in paying honor and reverence to our beloved Philippine flag, the enduring symbol of our sovereignty, unity, ideals, culture, and patriotism.

Yesterday, 5th of June 2026, the Scouts solemnly and respectfully retire our worn Philippine Flags at Eusebio High School, in accordance with Republic Act No. 8491 or the Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines, as a way of honoring the History, Sacrifices and Pride it represents.

The activity concluded with the ashes of the burnt Philippine Flag buried at an honored place at the schoolโ€™s garden, with the Scouts and guests offering their respects.

May this act remind every Scouts of the importance of honoring our national symbols and keeping alive the spirit of patriotism, respect, and love for our country.
