Kamustahan with Parents

Gender-Sensitive Communication

Our parents gained valuable insights on using respectful and inclusive language, recognizing gender stereotypes, and fostering open communication at home. By learning to communicate with empathy and respect, they are better equipped to create a safe and supportive environment where every child feels valued and heard.

Empowering community leaders to become advocates for change.

Officers from different organizations across the 11 barangays of Pasay and Manila successfully completed the Capacity-Building Training on Gender-Responsive Parenting and Peer-to-Peer Education as Batch 1 and Batch 2 participants.

This training was conducted under the Gender-Responsive Actions towards Community Empowerment and Development (GRACED) Project of Asmae Philippines, co-funded by AFD - Agence Française de Développement.

Through learning, collaboration, and meaningful discussions, participants strengthened their knowledge and skills to champion gender equality, promote inclusion, and inspire positive change within their communities.

To welcome the new academic year, ACAP conducted its first *Kamustahan* session entitled “Ang Pagiging Responsableng Mag-aaral at ang Karapatan ng mga Bata." The activity provided learners with an opportunity to reflect on their responsibilities as students while deepening their understanding of children's rights.

The session was facilitated by the ACAP Child and Youth Rights Advocates Organization, whose members continue to champion children's rights and promote meaningful participation among young people.

As we begin another year of learning, may our students be guided by responsibility, respect, and a strong commitment to upholding the rights of every child.

📢 CALL FOR DONATIONS 📢

One of our project communities, C4 Bliss in Barangay Moonwalk, Parañaque City, was recently affected by a fire. Most families were unable to save any of their belongings and are now facing the challenge of rebuilding their lives from the ground up.

We are grateful that all families are safe, especially the children.

We are humbly asking for donations to help provide for their immediate daily needs:

🛏️ Sleeping mats, blankets, and mosquito nets
👕 Clean clothes
🧼 Hygiene kits
💧 Drinking water
🎒 School supplies for students (including bag and shoes)

Any donation, big or small, will make a meaningful difference to these families during this difficult time. Rest assured that all donations will go directly to the fire-affected families.

If you would like to help, please send us a message through our page for details on how and where you can deliver your donations.

We sincerely thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support. Together, we can help these families recover and rebuild.

Thank you for being a blessing to those in need.

Grateful for doors that open new worlds. ✨

Through the generosity of Ms. Ayni Nuyda, founder of Search Mindscapes Foundation, together with Alitaptap Artists, our ACAP youth were welcomed into inspiring creative spaces—visiting studios, hearing artists’ journeys, and witnessing the depth of a life devoted to art.

These experiences in Alitaptap Artists Community remind us that art goes beyond what we create—it is something we live, share, and pass on.

Maraming salamat po for this meaningful opportunity to learn, connect, and be inspired. 💛

With the school season approaching once again, the children were first given a chance to enjoy their summer break through Palarong Pinoy, where they experienced fun, laughter, and discovered different traditional Filipino games. A simple moment that brought joy, friendship, and memories they can cherish.
