• 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞– Fostering social responsibility by using music and goodwill to support meaningful community initiatives.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗪𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛 𝗜𝗦 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛, 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗜𝗦 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪𝗟𝗘𝗗𝗚𝗘.

The 𝐵𝑎𝑟𝑘𝑎𝑑𝑎 𝐾𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑟𝑎 𝐵𝑖𝑠𝑦𝑜 (𝐵𝐾𝐵) of Pagsanghan National High School successfully conducted a meaningful and informative Symposium on Vices: Ci******es, E-Ci******es, and Gender and Development (GAD). The activity aimed to raise awareness among students about the dangers of smoking and va**ng, while also promoting understanding about gender equality and social responsibility.

The symposium was attended by the Supreme Secondary Learners Government (SSLG), Youth for Environment in School-Organization (YES-O), active members of Barkada Kontra Bisyo (BKB) and advisers of the different school organizations in PNHS, showing the strong support of student organizations in promoting a healthy, safe, and inclusive school community.

The guest speaker, 𝐕𝐡𝐚𝐦 𝐏. 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐜𝐚, 𝐑𝐍, District Nurse, shared valuable knowledge about the harmful chemicals found in ci******es and e-ci******es, their negative effects on the body, and practical ways on how students can avoid and stop using these harmful substances. Nurse Milca also discussed the importance of making wise decisions and choosing a healthy lifestyle despite peer pressure.

In addition, the discussion highlighted Gender and Development (GAD), focusing on common stereotypes about women, respect for individual differences, and awareness about sexuality. The session encouraged students to become more open-minded, respectful, and responsible individuals who value equality and dignity for all.

Through the spirit of unity and generosity, the Barkada Kontra Bisyo (BKB), together with the Supreme Secondary Learners Government (SSLG), and Youth for Environment in School-Organization (YES-O), successfully brought smiles and hope to those who needed it most by sharing simple yet meaningful gifts.

The funds for this outreach activity were raised through Christmas caroling, where every voice, every note, and every effort became a symbol of compassion and teamwork. This activity aimed to promote social responsibility not only within the school campus but also throughout the community, showing that students can be instruments of positive change even in simple ways.

More than the gifts that were given, it was the love, care, and sincerity behind them that truly touched the hearts of the people. This small act of kindness created a big impact, spreading joy and warmth throughout Pagsanghan. Indeed, this initiative proved that when young people work together for a good cause, even the simplest actions can create meaningful differences and inspire others to do the same. 🎶✨

In celebration of National Women’s Month, the 𝐺𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑟 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐷𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑙𝑜𝑝𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡 (𝐺𝐴𝐷) Coordinators of Junior High School and Senior High School, together with the 𝑆𝑢𝑝𝑟𝑒𝑚𝑒 𝑆𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑑𝑎𝑟𝑦 𝐿𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑛𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝐺𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑛𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡 (𝑆𝑆𝐿𝐺) and 𝐵𝑎𝑟𝑘𝑎𝑑𝑎 𝐾𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑟𝑎 𝐵𝑖𝑠𝑦𝑜 (𝐵𝐾𝐵) of Pagsanghan National High School, successfully organized a meaningful program that highlights the strength, wisdom, and leadership of women.

The activity paid tribute to the Babaylan, the spiritual leaders and healers of ancient Philippine communities, who symbolize the powerful role of women in guiding, nurturing, and strengthening society. Through this program, the school community was reminded of the important contributions of women not only in history but also in shaping our present and future.

This celebration aimed to inspire learners to appreciate, respect, and uplift women in all aspects of life—recognizing their courage, resilience, and invaluable role in building a better community.

Women are not just ordinary individuals; they are powerful leaders who inspire and uplift communities. They possess 𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑔𝑡ℎ, 𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑎𝑔𝑒, and 𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒 — driving forces that have reshaped and continue to reshape our world. From pioneering social movements to breaking barriers in various fields, women's contributions have left a lasting impact on society.

In celebration of National Women's Month, Barkada Kontra Bisyo organized an activity called "𝐋𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫" on March 6, 2026. This activity aims to show appreciation for all powerful, strong, and resilient women by writing a letter to the special woman in your life - your mother, grandmother, teacher, or any woman you want to appreciate. 💕

Mga kabarkada, join us in celebrating the women who inspire us! 🌟 Let's take a moment to express our gratitude and admiration for the strong, resilient, and courageous women in our lives. Through our "Letter to the Women Who Matter" activity, let's come together to build a world where everyone is treated with dignity, respect, and equality. Marahil Ang taong 2025 ay nagdulot sa atin ng iilang Hindi magandang pangyayare, mga hamon at paghihirap na hindi pa natin naranasan, sinubok ang ating mga limitasyon at itinulak tayo upang tuklasin ang ating panloob na lakas at katatagan. Taos-puso naming binabati ang bawat isa sa inyo sa matagumpay na paglalayag sa gitna ng magulong panahong ito at sa paglitaw bilang mas malakas sa kabilang panig.

Sa pagtanaw sa hinaharap, tinatanggap natin ang 2026 nang may optimismo at pag-asa. Sama-sama nating hilingin na ang taong ito ay maging sagana sa 𝑘𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑔𝑎𝑦𝑎ℎ𝑎𝑛, 𝑘𝑎𝑠𝑎𝑔𝑎𝑛𝑎𝑎𝑛 𝑠𝑎 𝑝𝑎𝑛𝑎𝑛𝑎𝑙𝑎𝑝𝑖, 𝑝𝑎𝑔-𝑖𝑏𝑖𝑔, mga 𝑜𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑑𝑎𝑑, at mga 𝑝𝑎𝑔𝑝𝑎𝑝𝑎𝑙𝑎 para sa lahat. Ayon sa simbolo, ang 2026 ay ang Taon ng Kabayo, isang sagisag ng 𝑘𝑎𝑙𝑎𝑦𝑎𝑎𝑛, 𝑙𝑎𝑘𝑎𝑠, 𝑘𝑎𝑠𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑙𝑎𝑛, 𝑎𝑡 𝑡𝑎𝑔𝑢𝑚𝑝𝑎𝑦. Ang makapangyarihang simbolismong ito ay naghihikayat sa atin na ituloy ang ating mga layunin nang may walang pag-aalinlangang determinasyon at yakapin ang mga oportunidad na naghihintay sa atin.

Bukod pa rito, ang itinalagang kulay para sa 2026 ay Phantom (Cloud Dancer), isang kulay na nagpapahiwatig ng pakiramdam ng kalmado, kalinawan, pagpapanibago, at mga bagong simula. Ang banayad at ethereal na kulay na ito ay nagsisilbing paalala upang harapin ang bagong taon nang may malinaw na isip, bukas na puso, at panibagong layunin. Hinihikayat tayo nito na hanapin ang katahimikan sa gitna ng kaguluhan, yakapin ang pagbabago, at tahakin ang mga bagong pakikipagsapalaran nang may kumpiyansa at biyaya.

Nawa'y ang 2026 ay maging taon ng paglago, kasaganaan, at katuparan para sa ating lahat. Gamitin natin ang enerhiya ng Kabayo at ang katahimikan ng Phantom upang lumikha ng isang mas maliwanag at mas promising na kinabukasan.
