[TERM 1 TREECAP]

This term successfully concluded with BeLEAF in the Youth, having hosted two events this year in September and November. 🌟

This project was made possible due to the generous support, assistance, and collaboration from the Generation of Sea and Earth (Gen SEA) program 🌏 at Save Philippine Seas 🌊, the Sustainability Hub - Manila 🌳, the dedicated faculty members of the Biology department 👩🏽‍🏫👨🏻‍🏫, and our wonderful volunteers, affectionately known as our "seedlings" 🌱. We are also grateful for the support of the Lasallian community. 💚

We look forward to blooming meaningfully with all of you next year as we continue to lead this initiative focused on native tree awareness and appreciation on campus, while also sparking conversations about Philippine urban nature, conservation, and sustainability. 🍃

[NATIVE TREE WALK 2.0]

BeLEAF in the Youth: Youth Taking Root in Native Trees had another opportunity to spread out its branches again last November 26, 2025, at the Manila Campus with the Lasallian community! 🪴

Our second native tree walk on campus radiated even more on a sunny Wednesday, with enthusiastic parTREEcipants—now proud beLEAFers 🍃 —joining both morning and afternoon sessions. The walk was guided by our dedicated student facilitators: Gaw, Mackie, and Clark. ✨

Sir John Paul Domingo also brought us from the roots to the canopy of the campus's history and culture in his talk. 🏫🏹

We're truly grateful for everyone's support, especially our new seedlings who grew with us meaningfully in our second run, and to Sustainability Hub - Manila for advocating this youth-led initiative. 🌱🌏

Let's continue to care and protect our native trees on campus! 💚

[NATIVE TREE WALK AT DLSU MANILA]

Sustainability Hub - Manila and BeLEAF in the Youth are inviting the Lasallian community and the public to join us for the BeLEAF in the Youth: Tree Walk on November 26, 2025, Wednesday, at St. La Salle Hall, Room 321, Manila Campus. 💚🏹

There will be two sessions to choose from: Morning Session: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and Afternoon Session: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

We're promoting the awareness and appreciation of native trees and plants on campus through an educational talk by Mr. John Paul Domingo and a guided tree walk. 🌳🌟
