DID YOU KNOW?

Music has always been an important part of The Salvation Army's mission. From the earliest hymn collections used for evangelism to today's Song Book, these songs have helped share the Gospel and strengthen the faith of generations of Salvationists.

In the Philippines, many of these songs were translated into local languages through the dedicated efforts of translators and committee members who helped make Salvation Army music more accessible to Filipino worshippers.

UNITY & SHARED PURPOSE: TLC 2026

Following our Annual General Meetings, leadership from across the Philippine Territory gathered at the Officer Training College (OTC) in Tanay, Rizal for the 2026 Territorial Leaders Conference (TLC) under the inspiring theme "Sustained Growth and Productivity" (Proverbs 24:27).

In a powerful demonstration of unity and shared purpose, our officers and leaders engaged in dedicated sessions focused on our core strategic priorities:
• Introduction to Global Strategic Framework: COMPASS – Colonel Nelia Almenario
• People: Workforce Retention and Productivity – Lt. Colonel Emerald Urbien
• Mission: Corps Health and Growth – Lt. Colonel David Casimero
• Legacy: Financial Health and Sustainability – Lt. Colonel Annabelle Meana
• Mission Integration: Social Services Programs – Captain Nicole Ann Casidsid
• Mission Integration: Educational Services Program – Major Elmer Orden

Through these foundational discussions, our leaders reviewed, evaluated, and synchronized our strategic direction across every level of the movement:

• International to Territorial: Our Territorial Strategic Plans were fully aligned and synchronized with the General and International Headquarters' (IHQ) Global Strategic Framework: COMPASS (People, Mission, Legacy).

• Territorial to Divisional: The strategic plans of our four divisions–Central Philippines Division (CPD), Northern Luzon Division (NLD), Visayas Islands Division (VID), and Mindanao Island Division (MID)–were harmonized directly with our overarching Territorial Strategic Plan.

• Divisional to Local Corps: As divisional leaders return to their fields, they will guide local Corps across the country to align their individual plans with their respective Divisional Strategic Plans.

From International Headquarters down to every local Corps in the Philippines, this complete alignment brings all our strategies and ministries into one clear, optimized, and powerful force for Kingdom impact!

We leave Tanay renewed, connected, and inspired – ready to carry out God’s mission with single-minded purpose, all for the Glory of God!

🌧️ Sa Gitna ng Ulan, Nananatiling Tapat ang Diyos

"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble."
Psalm 46:1

Prayer Focus:
Lord, protect our communities, strengthen those in need, and help us become instruments of Your love and compassion.
