🌾🍚 WORLD FOOD DAY 2026 🌍💚
“Hand in Hand for Better Foods and a Better Future.”

Food is more than just something we eat—it is a basic human right, a source of life, and a foundation for a healthier and stronger community. 🍽️✨

This World Food Day, let us be reminded that everyone deserves access to safe, nutritious, and sufficient food. Let us practice mindful consumption, avoid food waste, support local farmers, and share what we can with those in need. 🤝🌱

As young people, we can make a difference through simple actions: finish what we take, appreciate every meal, and help build a community where no one is left behind or goes hungry.

💚 Every meal matters. Every action counts. Together, let's create a world where everyone has access to healthy food!

🌾 Good food, better nutrition, a sustainable future.

The Aklan Provincial Population and Gender Office (AKPPGO) through Aklan Peer Educators will conduct the Peer Educators Training on October 17–18, 2026, at the Aklan Training Center (ATC), Old Buswang, Kalibo, Aklan.

The training will be participated in by selected student representatives from schools with existing Peer Educators Clubs and schools preparing to establish their respective clubs. This initiative aims to strengthen school-based peer education and encourage more schools to actively participate in promoting Adolescent Health and Development (AHD).

Through this training, participants will be equipped with relevant knowledge, practical skills, and competencies to become effective peer educators and youth advocates in their respective schools and communities. It also seeks to strengthen their capacity to support adolescent health initiatives and contribute to creating a safe, informed, and supportive environment for adolescents.

See you on the weekend everyone.

💙 NATIONAL MENTAL HEALTH WEEK | OCTOBER 12–18

Your feelings are valid, your voice matters, and your mental health is important. Let’s break the stigma, spread kindness, and remind everyone that it’s okay to ask for help and never okay to judge.
