Mental health is an essential part of every seafarer's overall well-being. Long periods away from home, demanding work schedules, and the unique challenges of life at sea make access to mental health resources and support more important than ever.

Since 2022, Intership Crew Philippines has been collaborating with the International Seafarers' Welfare and Assistance Network (ISWAN) as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. Through this partnership, we continue to promote seafarer welfare by supporting initiatives that encourage resilience, well-being, and access to valuable resources for those working at sea.

By working together with organizations like ISWAN - Philippines , we remain committed to supporting our seafarersβ€”not only in their professional growth but also in their health, welfare, and quality of life.

🌊 Seafarers: Your experience matters...

The maritime sector is facing many challenges, from geopolitical instability to changing workforce expectations.
How does uncertainty affect your work, wellbeing, and future plans?

We are supporting the 'Sailing Through Uncertainty' initiative from Seatrade Maritime News and DSG, and we're encouraging seafarers around the world to take part in a short survey.

The survey takes only 3 minutes and will help the industry better understand the challenges seafarers face and identify ways to provide better support.

πŸ“’ If you work with seafarers, please share this survey with your crew and networks.

Your voice can help shape positive change across the maritime sector.

Behind every successful seafarer is a family whose love, support, and resilience make every voyage possible.

As part of the Hafnia Seafarers and Family Day, we were delighted to deliver the Family Outreach Programme (FOP), a module designed by the ISWAN to support and empower seafarers' family members.

Through meaningful discussions and shared experiences, families gained valuable insights and practical tools to strengthen relationships, stay connected despite the distance, and support each other's well-being.

Because when families are supported, seafarers are supported too. πŸ’™
