With hearts full of gratitude, we warmly welcome home Sister Silvano from Imus 2nd Ward as she honorably returns from serving in the Utah Salt Lake City Temple Square Mission from February 2025 to August 2026.

Elder Glennz-Fort Tuazon from Medicion Ward shared his powerful testimony on how FSY helped him on preparing a mission.

Bago po ako mag-share ng testimony sa inyo, nais ko lamang po i-share na ako po ay magse-serve ng mission sa Philippines Cebu Mission, at masaya po ako at natanggap ko po ang calling ko na ito.

Sobrang thankful ko talaga na naka-attend ako ng FSY, dati kasi feel ko pag sumama ako, parang wala akong makikilala o makakausap na mga youth, pero may sinabi sa Matthew 28:20 ..."and, lo, i am with you always even unto the end of the world." Sinasabi sa verse na ito na kahit ano'ng mangyari ay andiyan palagi si Jesus Christ sa ating tabi, kaya if you feel alone, just pray and ponder.

Napakasaya talagang magkaroon ng desire na mag-serve ng mission dahil dito mo talaga malalaman kung gaano tayo kamahal at kahalaga sa diyos. Sa MTC pa lang, sobrang saya na, pero iba pa rin talaga ang mararamdaman natin sa field kasi need ulit mag-adjust sa culture at bagong companion.

Masaya po ako na nakapag-share ako ng testimony sa inyo, brothers and sisters. Alam ko po na lahat ng sinabi ko ay totoo at si President Dallin H. Oaks ang buhay nating propeta, at iniiwan ko po ito in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Welcome Home, Elder Trayco 🏠

We happily welcome back Elder Trayco from Buhay na Tubig Ward as he returned with honor in the Philippines Bacolod Mission from April 2024 to April 2026. His two years of faithful service reflect his love for the Lord and His children, and we are grateful for the lives he has touched and the testimony he has strengthened.

His testimony: “Good day Everyone I'm Brother Marvin former Elder Trayco served in the Philippines Bacolod Mission. I know for myself na I've found the kingdom nang Diyos dito sa kalibutan, kabalo ko din na ang Missionary work ang pinakamahalagang ulobrahon nang Diyos. sa Mission ko din mas narealize at mas naintindihan ang Pagbayad sala ni Jesukristo. I will be forever grateful na nakapagserve ako nang mission at Isa sa natutunan ko na "If you love them, baptize them. Mahal nila tayo at alam ko na buhay sila. Ang Book of Mormon, Si prophet Joseph Smith at ang mga revelations totoo talaga sila.”

Welcome Home, Sister Vecinal🪻

With grateful hearts, we warmly welcome Sister Vecinal from Buhay na Tubig Ward as she honorably returned from her mission October 2024 to April 2026. Her faithful service has strengthened her testimony, deepened her love for the Savior, and blessed many lives.

Her testimony: "I know this missionary work is Heavenly Father’s great work, and each of us is part of it. Our efforts, even small ones, can make a big difference. It doesn’t matter if you are a full-time missionary or not, newly baptized, or just returned to church—do not focus on feelings that you are not good enough to share the gospel. Instead, pray to “stand as a witness of God.” We show this by how we live and how we speak every day. I know it was not by chance that I was assigned to the Philippines Cagayan de Oro Mission, and it is not by chance that you are where you are now. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ need you and me. I know He will guide us, and I have already witnessed this during my mission. I know this is a great work, and it is worth our time and effort."

From Imus 2nd Ward to the mission field—Sister Mari’s journey is a testament of faith, growth, and courage 🤍✨

“Just like other teenagers, I struggled to keep up with what the world offers. My first FSY was during the pandemic, and I thought it would be boring—but those 5 days changed everything. I began to see the beauty of the Gospel and gained my own testimony of Jesus Christ.
At my last FSY, I had a question in my heart: ‘Should I prepare to serve a mission?’ The desire was there, but I lacked the willingness. After that experience, I felt fulfilled, inspired, and ready. I held on to that burning desire—and now, I’m acting on it.
I know that Heavenly Father knows each of us by name. He understands our struggles and helps us become who we are meant to be.”
