It was an evening of camaraderie, friendly competition, and shared passion for wellness—bringing together members of all ages to learn, play, and support one another on the court. 🙌

A special highlight was the opportunity for participants to practice alongside our very own CMS Pickleball Team, who are gearing up for an exciting competition ahead.

Stages of Heart Disease

It doesn’t start with a heart attack.
It builds silently.

Stage 1 is risk accumulation.
High BP, diabetes, smoking, poor diet begin damage.

Stage 2 is endothelial dysfunction.
Inner lining of arteries gets injured.

Stage 3 is atherosclerosis.
Plaque builds inside arteries.
Blood flow starts reducing.

Stage 4 is clinical disease.
Chest pain, reduced blood supply.

Stage 5 is acute event.
Plaque ruptures.
Clot forms.
Heart attack occurs.

Years of buildup.
Minutes of crisis.

Early control prevents progression.

Ayon sa research ng Acta Medica Philippina, 6 sa bawat 10 Pilipino (64.41%) ang umiinom ng sugar-sweetened beverages (SSB) araw-araw. Ibig sabihin, mahilig ang mga Pinoy sa mga matatamis at malalamig na inumin.

Kaya palalala ng DOH ngayong Semana Santa, gawing regular ang pag-inom ng tubig bilang pinaka-epektibong inumin para maiwasan ang heat exhaustion at dehydration.
