We, the representatives of the Slow Food Community Bingawan, Slow Food Community Capiz, Slow Food Community of Lambunao, and Slow Food Iloilo, together with the Slow Food Councilor for Southeast Asia, extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who supported the Slow Food Community Earth Market.
To our farmers who traveled from their respective towns and provinces to bring fresh, local, and organically grown produce, thank you for sharing the fruits of your hard work with our community.
To our food exhibitors who continuously develop, experiment, and thoughtfully create dishes aligned with the principles of good, clean, and fair food, thank you for helping bring our heritage ingredients and traditional flavors back to the table.
To our local government units, whose support has been relentless and invaluable, thank you for believing in this movement and helping us create more opportunities for our farmers, fisherfolk, food artisans, and local communities.
To our customers and marketgoers who are beginning to become more conscious of what they eat, where their food comes from, and the stories behind every ingredient—thank you for choosing to learn, experience, and support local.
We are beyond grateful for this growing movement of change and for the meaningful impact we are creating across the province of Iloilo and the whole of Panay.
Together, we are strengthening local food systems, protecting our culinary heritage, supporting the livelihoods of our farmers, fisherfolk, and food artisans, and making good, clean, and fair food more accessible to everyone.
This movement continues because of you. One farmer, one ingredient, one dish, and one conscious choice at a time. 🌱
