Continuing from what was left off the morning session, participants from the different barangays of San Dionisio, Iloilo, carried on with the filling out of the Family Data Sheet (FDS) as part of the Barangay Management Information System Training of Enumerators.
Guided by the facilitators who previously participated in the BMIS Training of Trainers at the UPV Iloilo City Campus last June 17 to 19, 2026, participants continued the hands-on training workshop in collecting important household and community data. The workshop perfectly highlighted the significance of having reliable, accurate, and timely information to create evidence-based plans at the barangay level.
To further reinforce the learning experience, a situational role play that simulated actual data collection scenarios was conducted, giving the participants an opportunity to apply what they have learned in todayโs program and preparing them for tomorrowโs community engagement.
Day 1 of the program concluded with the preparation for Pilot Interviews in selected barangays in the municipality of San Dionisio. Through an in-depth workshop session, participants were able to grasp the concept of the BMIS as a system and the FDS as a tool for evidence-based data they can apply to their respective communities.
