Grateful for our partner Brush & Brew Caffé for our annual Fun Day, an activity full of games and fun with school supplies distribution. For now , BDEV have six (6) partner barangays with four child led organizations for the Fun Day event.

🤝 About Our Partner: BDEV Child Protection, Inc. - formerly Birthdev (Balay Integrated Rehabilitation Center for Total Human Development) is a dedicated non-government organization based in Iligan City, Lanao del Norte. For more than a decade, they have been a pillar of support for the children of the province, focusing on:

* Educational Support:Ensuring children in remote and underserved areas have the tools they need to stay in school.
* Community Health: Implementing programs that uplift the well-being of families in rural Lanao.
* Peace & Development: Strengthening the community through inclusive development initiatives.

🖍 How You Can Help
Helping is as simple as enjoying your favorite brew. For the upcoming School Year 2026-2027:

1. Drink to Donate: For every cup of coffee purchased, ₱5.00 is added to our school supply fund.
2. Physical Donations: If you have the heart to share notebooks, pencils, crayons, or bags, we are accepting physical school supply donations at our counters.

👉📅 Deadline for Donations: We are accepting donations/contributions until the end of May 2026.

👉Simply approach our friendly baristas if you have items to drop off or if you want to learn more about the campaign. Your kindness ensures that no child in our community starts the school year empty-handed.

PARTNERSHIP AND COLLABORATION
CSO: ICPC - Iligan City collaboration
Clr. Derrick Siao, Committee Head on Social Services had been supportive to BDEV programs and services. In 2025, he graced the activities of BDEV with his presence which added to the weight of the importance of promoting children's rights.

At the Maminaw Ta: A Psychosocial Support Session, with BDEV as the lead and as member of Iligan City People's Council, his welcome message of support contributed to the preparedness of the participants to be candid in sharing their resilient experience in the aftermath of TS Basyang.

Grateful to the 13 ICPC members who were present in April 16, 2026 and Balay Rehabilitation Center with their expertise in listening and documentation of the points for ICPC policy advocacy.

Advocacy. Children's Month
BDEV staff with the members of the Local Council for the Protection of Children.

BDEV's lobbying in 2015 with CSWD to have separate Children's Congress for children aged 10 to 17 years old already reaps more partnerships with the different government agencies like CSWD and DILG. The BDEV's membership in the Local Council for the Protection of Children and the recognition as one of the child-focused CSO and its advocacy in Child's Rights have expanded the partnerships with several BLGU's BCPC. Soon, more Barangay Council for the Protection of Children in Iligan City will be more functional with the mentoring of BDEV.

Children's Month 2025
BDEV as we joined the 2025 National Children's Month Celebration in Iligan City. One of the major activities is the Motor Kid.

With us in the car are the LCPC Child Representatives for 2024 to 2025.

Child Rights.
Motor Kid, Iligan City many advocacy events for the National Children's Month. The members of the Local Council for the Protection of Children woke up early on Nov. 7 to support and joined the Motor Kid organized by CSWD and Task Force OSAEC. More than 20 vehicles including BDEV traverse the main and busy streets of Iligan City. The Motor Kid started in Anahaw Ampi-Theater and ended in Riverview Hall for the Child-led Interactive Workshop.

Children's Rights.
BDEV, a longtime member of the Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) in Iligan City joined the kick-off activity, A Child-led Interactive Workshop on the Prevention of OSAEC-CSAEM and Self-Esteem Building for the Celebration of the 2025 National Children's Month. The LCPC Child Representatives were among the Speakers and Facilitators of the workshop. BDEV had played a role in preparing the LCPC Child Representatives in their respective topics and facilitating the workshop activities. Coaching and Mentoring also happened during the actual workshop.
