From identifying a problem to planning a way forward. 🌱

Representatives from METRIC Club of Isabela National High School actively joined the Youth Circular Economy Project Development Workshop under the EU-Philippines Green Economy Partnership on September 21–22, 2026, held at the City of Ilagan Community Center and City Hotel.

The two-day workshop focused on a simple but important process: identify a specific problem, understand its causes and challenges, and develop an action plan that can address it strategically.

Working with our group, we examined an environmental concern relevant to our school or community and developed a proposed course of action. We then presented our plan to the resource speakers, whose feedback helped us refine our ideas and move forward to the next level of project development.

Beyond developing our own action plan, the workshop also gave us the opportunity to learn from other student leaders. Through group discussions and shared experiences, we gained different perspectives on how environmental problems can be approached and addressed in different ways.

We came in with a problem to work on; we left with a clearer plan, new perspectives, and ideas shaped by collaboration.

And for us at METRIC Club, it was an opportunity to put problem-solving beyond the classroom—and into a problem that matters. ♻📐
