The DOST-SEI is now officially accepting applications for the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 (𝗝𝗟𝗦𝗦). If you are an incoming third-year college student taking a priority S&T program, this is your opportunity to lead the next generation of innovation.

𝗜𝗦𝗞𝗢-𝗢𝗣𝗦: 𝗣𝗔𝗬𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗

Members of the 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 (𝐘𝐒𝐒) participated in the nationwide 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 for the 𝐃𝐎𝐒𝐓-𝐒𝐄𝐈 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 at Isabela State University - Cauayan Campus last February 21-22, 2026.

As over 4,000 students across Cagayan Valley took their qualifying exams, YSS members took part and were present on ground to provide encouragement and support with free water, snacks and candies. The team also set up a Manifestation Wall, where both examinees and parents participated by posting their aspirations and words of encouragement.

This initiative is part of a continuing tradition of current DOST scholars giving back to the community and supporting the next generation of S&T leaders.

Congratulations to all the examinees for completing the exam! Thy will be done!

ISKO OPS (Initiative of Scholars to Kindle Opportunities, Outcomes, Preparation, and Support) is a regional initiative led by DOST-SEI Scholars in Cagayan Valley. It is designed to provide structured academic support to aspiring DOST-SEI scholars preparing for the 2026 DOST Undergraduate Scholarships Qualifying Examination.
Implemented in collaboration with DOST Region II through its Scholarship Unit, and in partnership with the Association of Cagayan Valley's Committed and Excellent Sci-Tech Scholars (ACCESS), the program aims to bridge gaps in academic preparation among applicants from diverse backgrounds. The initiative delivers comprehensive online review sessions, structured mock examinations, and examination-day assistance to ensure participants are well-equipped both academically and mentally.
Through this coordinated effort, ISKO OPS strengthens access to quality preparation resources, fosters academic excellence, and empowers future scholars to confidently pursue opportunities in science and technology.
