𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗟𝗜𝗣𝗜: 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲

A meaningful gathering took place today in Capellan, City of Ilagan, Isabela, as the Leaders: Indigenous People Inclusivity (Project LIPI) Caravan brought its message of unity, inclusion, and community empowerment to the area.

The activity focused on extending meaningful assistance and support to the community through the distribution of medicines, free dental check-ups, health and awareness activities, and other services that promote well-being and inclusivity.

More than providing assistance, Project LIPI created an opportunity to connect with the community, listen to their experiences, appreciate Indigenous culture, and strengthen partnerships rooted in respect and inclusion.

Together, we continue to build communities where every voice is heard, every culture is valued, and everyone is given the opportunity to participate and thrive.

𝗕𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗬. 𝗕𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘. 𝗕𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗣 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗬 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗

Today, September 12, the College Red Cross Youth ISU Ilagan Council joins the global celebration of World First Aid Day 2026!

This year’s theme, “𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗔𝗜𝗗 𝗜𝗡 𝗠𝗜𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗫𝗧𝗦,” reminds us that first aid should be accessible to everyone, everywhere.

Let’s continue learning, staying prepared, and looking out for one another—because a helping hand can make a difference.

𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗕𝗜𝗚 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.

This month, we remind one another that every life matters, every voice deserves to be heard, and no one should have to face difficult moments alone.

Let’s choose to talk, listen, support, and seek help. A simple conversation, a kind message, or simply being there can make a meaningful difference.

Let’s create a community where asking for help is met with understanding, compassion, and hope.

𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽. 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿.

Behind every great volunteer, first responder, and youth leader is a teacher who inspired them to care for the world. Educators are the ultimate humanitarians—giving their time, heart, and energy every day to mold us into compassionate leaders of tomorrow. Guided by this year’s official theme, “𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝗜𝗸𝗮𝘄 𝗡𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻,” we turn the spotlight onto the very ones who tirelessly look after us.

Here in our council, we are profoundly grateful for the leadership and guidance of our dedicated advisers, 𝗠𝗮'𝗮𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗭𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗯𝗼 and 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽 𝗥𝗮𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘀. Your constant support, wisdom, and unwavering dedication keep our Red Cross Youth spirit alive and steer our council toward the true path of service.

To Ma’am Nes, Sir Phil, and all the professors and instructors who empower us every single day: thank you for your service to the youth.
