𝗛𝗢𝗡𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘, 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗚𝗡𝗜𝗭𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗘

The College Red Cross Youth – ISU Ilagan Council proudly celebrates a remarkable milestone as we are recognized as one of the 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟱 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 in Isabela under the Youth Organization category at the 6th GRTA Gawad Ulirang Kabataan – Pagkilala sa Natatanging Organisasyon ng Kabataan Isabelaño.

This recognition was presented on August 31, 2026 at the Isabela Provincial Capitol, City of Ilagan, Isabela, honoring our Council’s continued dedication to youth leadership, volunteerism, and meaningful service to the community.

This achievement belongs to every volunteer, officer, adviser, partner, and supporter who has been part of our journey. We also proudly acknowledge the past term led by our incumbent President, Justine Angel Bolinget, whose leadership, dedication, and service helped lay the foundation for this recognition. This honor is a reflection of the collective efforts of everyone who continues to uphold the values of humanity, volunteerism, and service above self.

CRCY Officers step up to the challenge as they take part in the Project SKooling for Buwan ng Kabataan, held at Aggabao Hall, Cabagan, Isabela, on August 28, 2026.

Being part of a meaningful event like this creates a lasting impact—not only on aspiring SK Officials, but also on the organizations and communities that each individual in the hall represents.

Leadership is more than simply taking a position. It is about showing up, stepping forward, and choosing to serve. It means volunteering your time, using your voice, and standing for the people who placed their trust in you.

Because true leadership is not about the title you carry. It is about the community you choose to carry with you.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | The College Red Cross Youth - ISU Ilagan Council proudly stepped up on August 24, 2026, for this year's joint celebration of ASEAN Month, Buwan ng Wika, and Buwan ng Kabataan. As the campus came alive with culture and youth leadership, the council volunteers stood actively at the forefront—not just as observers, but as dedicated first aiders providing vital medical assistance throughout the day.

The council also gave an impactful symposium on the core services and dynamic activities of the Red Cross Youth and Membership Accident Assistance Benefit (MAAB). The organization showcased opportunities for youth leadership, civic engagement, health and safety campaigns, and community humanitarian service. Through this, it aimed to educate our fellow youth on how they can be protected through the Red Cross membership program while empowering them to become active agents of positive change. Throughout the event, the Red Cross Youth also provided needed healthcare services.

As young leaders of today, we continue to bridge languages and nations through the universal language of humanity and care.

𝗞𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻, 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗴𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝗸𝗮𝘀

Matagumpay na isinagawa ang 2-Day Occupational First Aid Training para sa mga mag-aaral ng Bachelor in Technical-Vocational Teacher Education (BTVTEd) bilang bahagi ng kanilang asignaturang Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) nitong Agosto 21-22, 2026.

Pinangunahan ang pagsasanay ni Marines Zilabbo, Adviser ng College Red Cross Youth – ISU Ilagan, katuwang ang mga masisipag na CRCY officers.

Sa loob ng dalawang araw, natutunan at nahasa ng mga mag-aaral ang mahahalagang kaalaman at kasanayan sa first aid at pagtugon sa mga emergency, na makatutulong upang maging mas handa at responsable sila sa hinaharap.

𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗 𝗛𝗨𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Sa araw ng paggunita ng World Humanitarian Day ngayong Agosto 19, ating pahalagahan ang diwa ng pagkakawanggawa, malasakit, at pagkakaisa sa paglilingkod sa kapwa.

Bilang mga kabataang boluntaryo ng College Red Cross Youth, patuloy nating isinasabuhay ang diwa ng bolunterismo—ang kusang paglalaan ng panahon, kakayahan, at puso para sa kapakanan ng iba. Sa bawat oras na inilalaan, at bawat pusong handang maglingkod, naipapakita natin na ang kabataan ay may mahalagang bahagi sa pagbuo ng mas makatao at mahabaging komunidad.

Kaya naman, patuloy tayong maging katuwang sa pagkalinga at maging boses ng pag-asa sa bawat sulok ng lipunan. Mabuhay ang mga Boluntaryong Kabataan! Isang makabuluhang World Humanitarian Day sa ating lahat!

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | The Philippine Red Cross – Isabela Chapter, together with the College Red Cross Youth – ISU Ilagan, supported the Government Service Caravan cm Job Fair & TUPAD Payout held at the Ruby D. Albano Astrodome, Tumauini, Isabela on August 14, 2026.

Volunteers provided a First Aid Station and vital signs monitoring to help ensure the health and safety of attendees and beneficiaries throughout the event.

𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐆𝐈𝐕𝐄, 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐘 𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐄

In a powerful demonstration of community service, the Philippine Red Cross Isabela Chapter, alongside the ROTC Units of ISU Ilagan and Cabagan Campuses, hosted a successful mass blood donation drive on August 15, 2026. Officers and members of the CRCY-ISU Ilagan Council actively assisted throughout the event.

By rolling up their sleeves to donate, participants shared hope, kindness, and the ultimate gift of life—proving that even small, individual actions can create a profound collective impact.

The ROTC cadets expanded their mission beyond ensuring peace and security, stepping forward as lifesavers to bring renewed hope and longer futures to patients in need.

A small act of generosity can have a lasting impact. This 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 (𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲), the 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒈𝒆 𝑹𝒆𝒅 𝑪𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒔 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 – 𝑰𝑺𝑼 𝑰𝒍𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒏 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒍, together with the Philippine Red Cross – Isabela Chapter, will be holding a Bloodletting Activity at 𝐈𝐒𝐔 𝐈𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 from 𝟕:𝟎𝟎 𝐀𝐌 𝐭𝐨 𝟓:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌.

Blood is something we cannot simply manufacture—it comes from people who are willing to share what they have for someone in need. By taking part in this activity, you can help provide a vital resource for patients and communities who may need it when it matters most.
