RD Foundation, Inc. is the Corporate Social Responsibility Arm of RD Group of Companies. INSTITUTIONAL PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS:

1. Social Services Programs

Education
RD Foundation aims to contribute in the holistic development of the youth. This program supports poor but deserving students who want to complete their education through the RD Scholarship Program. Scholars under the two categories, Academic and Special, receive monthly educational assistance and are given relevant training on life skills and leadership. The “Edukasyon Mo, Kabuhayan Ko (EmK²) Project” improves the quality of education in the community by donating arm chairs while at the same time providing livelihood to the Persons With Disability (PWD) who manufacture the arm chairs. Health and other social Services
Under this program, RD Foundation helps in the delivery of health services to the communities. Our nutrition projects aim to curb the problem of malnutrition and hunger in collaboration with the public and private institutions. RD CUP (Communities Upholding Partnership) Against Malnutrition conducts comprehensive supplemental feeding to day care children for 120 days. The project also conducts medical and dental mission to the children beneficiaries and parents mentoring to the adults. The Feeding on Wheels conducts one time feeding activities to depressed areas to lessen hunger for the day. RD Foundation also conducts Medical, Dental, Audiology and Surgical Missions in partnership with local and international partners such as the Canadian Medical Mission Society (CMMS). The Little Dino Children’s Assistance Project extends financial medical assistance to children with medical condition. It also provides other social services for children such as monthly support to children’s homes, orphanages and day care centers.

2. Technical and Entrepreneurial Center (TEC)
The center helps indigent youth and adults acquire technical skills in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NCI and Electrical Installation and Management (EIM) NCI for free. Graduates of these technical courses are linked to appropriate RD Companies such RD Fishing and GenSan Shipyard for work opportunities. The TEC produces around 100 graduates of both courses every year. The center also helps community based organizations start a small enterprise by providing needed trainings and seed capital.

3. Environment and DRR-CCA
RD Foundation commits to protect and conserve the natural environment as a means of reducing risks to natural disasters and adapting to the changing climate. The foundation conducts mangrove reforestation, coastal clean and “scubasurero” or underwater clean up. The GreenSilient School Project builds resilience of public schools at highly at risk to disasters through green initiatives. Among the activities under this project is the mainstreaming of DRR-CCA in School Development Plans, Development and Integration of DRR-CCA modules in school curriculum, disaster preparedness and school greening.

4. Youth and Family Development
As a value based corporate foundation, this program is mainstreamed in all programs of RD Foundation. Partner communities and program beneficiaries are also recipients of Youth Development Project which extends youth and children evangelism, values and leadership formation and spiritual retreats. The Family Enrichment Project includes parents’ mentoring, family values formation and couples enrichment seminars.

RD Foundation and Operation Blessing Water System Partnership - 💧✨ Water, Life, and Sustained Hope

Clean water is a gift — and thanks to our precious partnership with Operation Blessing, it is now a gift we can share again and again. 🙏

Operation Blessing has provided our foundation with a complete water system — allowing us to draw safe, clean water to bring to communities in need, whenever and wherever it is needed.

Yesterday, today, and in the days ahead — we keep sharing this blessing, liters to gallons.

To Operation Blessing: thank you for trusting us with this life-giving resource. Together, we quench more than thirst — we restore dignity and hope. 🤍

Small Habits, Big Character

The DCRAI, the flagship education program of the RD Foundation, Inc. didn't just teach the children how to wash their hands — we taught them that caring for themselves and others is a value that starts with them.

Simple moments like these build habits of responsibility, discipline, and kindness. Every clean hand is a heart that cares. 💛

Growing stronger — together. 🤝✨

Thursday was such a meaningful gathering — our partners meeting with CFSI alongside three other incredible grantee organizations: CLAFI, MAHINTANA and OND Hesed.

We shared our project updates, talked openly about our implementation gaps and challenges, and exchanged best practices that will help us all serve better.

Most importantly, we deepened our understanding of how to apply safeguards — from assessment all the way through implementation — ensuring our work always honors and protects the communities we serve.

It's powerful to realize: we don't have to figure everything out alone. We learn from one another. We grow together. And together, we become safer, stronger, and more effective for the people we serve. Grateful for this community of partners.

Serbisyo Caravan: Where kindness met community. 💛🤝

Our hearts are full after a meaningful day at the Serbisyo Caravan in Polonuling, Tupi!

Through our valued partnership with Operation Blessing, we were able to share clean, refreshing water — drawn from the water system they generously provided to our foundation .

This partnership means that whenever our communities are in need, we have a reliable source of clean water ready to share. It's more than a system — it's a lasting blessing we get to pass on, again and again.

Along with the water, RD Foundation also served nourishing snacks to over 300 beneficiaries.

It wasn't just about water and goodies. It was about dignity. It was about showing up. It was about reminding our neighbors: you are not alone.

To Operation Blessing and everyone who made this possible esp Ma'am Nilda Foster from Canada and our caring RD Corp Security Team Col. Danilo Ferrer and Roldan Sacay, to our formidable Hope Ambassadors Pinkie Guanzon and Nathaniel Guianan - thank you. Because you cared, hundreds of lives were refreshed today.

Coming back to where our hearts stayed. 🐢🌊

Standing again at the Burias Pawikan Center today brought back so many memories. We were here when the earthquake shook this place — when cracks appeared, when roofs were damaged, and when our little sanctuary stood quiet. We walked through those difficult days together, and today, returning here felt like coming full circle.

But we didn't come just to look at what was broken. We came to remember what this place means: every hatchling that found its way to the sea, every child who learned to love our coast, every volunteer who stood guard through the night. This center isn't just wood and roof — it's hope, it's care, it's home for our turtles and our community.

And so, today we make this promise: we will not leave it this way. Through Project Kaagapay, we are rebuilding — not just to restore what was lost, but to create something even stronger, safer, and more enduring. A place that will welcome generations yet to come, and where our pawikan will always find shelter.

The road ahead takes time, but the commitment is firm. We are coming home — and we are bringing this center back to life.

A meaningful first visit to Big Margus. 🌿🤝

Today, we stepped into Big Margus, Glan for the very first time, meeting our Indigenous partners and tribal leaders. This is the beginning of our journey with Project PagLig-on through CFSI - Community and Family Services International .

It was a day of listening, learning, and laying the foundation for what we hope will be a long, meaningful partnership.

We came not just to assess needs, but to build trust. To walk the land, hear the stories, and understand how we can best walk alongside this community toward greater resilience and strength.

This is where it all begins — with a conversation, a handshake, and a shared commitment to grow stronger, together.

We are honored to be here. And we look forward to what we will build — hand in hand — from this day forward.

RD Foundation , Inc. and Evangelical Outreach Ministry (EOM) are aligning hearts and programs for 2027. Better together, stronger together, serving side by side.

What a delightful day with Bishop Nelson Novellas of PHILCAM giving his support to the team. His shared Word of God during the devotional reminded everyone that God provides, guides and protects us. That God is our Refuge in times of uncertainty and we will bring that refuge to others.
