IN PHOTOS: The Barkada Kontra Droga performed their Drug Prevention Campaign and Bata Kontra Bagyo Outreach 2025 to bring drug-awareness and disaster-awareness education to the learners of Dangi Elementary School and Dansullan Elementary School.

The Barkada Kontra Drogra reinforced its core advocacy by educating learners on drug abuse prevention, emphasizing the importance of making healthy choices, staying informed, and building strong values at a young age. For the learners to be even more informed and educated we put effort in empowering young students with basic knowledge of safety and preparedness in times of natural disasters, teaching them how preparedness, awareness, and quick action can save lives. Through engaging discussions and interactive demonstrations, we encouraged learners to be more confident, informed, proactive in emergency situations and make the right decisions.

To make this day even more memorable, we held a series of parlor games that promoted teamwork and leadership among the students. Their smiles, energy, and enthusiasm reminded us that learning spaces should be both educative and joyful.

This is one sure indication of BKD's commitment to resilience, a better-informed, and empowered community-one school at a time. We spark awareness with every visit to inspire a culture of readiness among our youth.

On November 28, BKD celebrates Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Week 2025, an important awareness-raising occasion strengthening values and empowering our learners to choose a healthier drug-free lifestyle. Through all our activities and sessions and involving the community, we hope to inspire responsibility, resilience, and informed decisions among the youth.
