From Miputak to the National Stage. โจ
We are deeply honored and humbled to share a milestone that belongs not only to the SK Miputak Council, but to the entire youth community of Barangay Miputak.
Out of 300+ nominees from across the country, only a select few advanced to the National Finalist stage of the EMPOWER Awards.
And last night, we proudly celebrate:

The journey to this recognition was far from easy. The selection process was rigorous, challenging the councilโs programs, leadership, impact, innovation, and commitment to youth development. Advancing to the Grand Final Phase of Selection, the accomplishments and initiatives of SK Miputak were humbly defended in all four phases by our SK Chairperson, Hon. Isagani Datoy, before the national panel.
And with gratitude, perseverance, and the collective effort of our council and community, we made it victorious. ๐ค
Pero labaw pa sa dungog ug pag-ila, among gidala dili lamang ang kalipay sa maong kalampusan, kundili ang usa ka mas lawom nga butang nga naggiya sa among pag-alagad:
TATAK MIPUTAK.
Usa ka espirito sa pag-alagad nga adunay katuyoan, pagpangulo nga adunay kasingkasing, kabag-ohan nga adunay responsibilidad, ug kahinungdanon sa pagpaningkamot alang sa kahusayan aron makahimo og mga oportunidad alang sa matag kabatan-onan.
This recognition is a testament that when young people are seen, heard, empowered, and given the opportunity to lead, they can create meaningful changeโnot only in their barangay, but on a national stage.
Ug busa, kining maong award dili lamang para kanamo. Kini alang sa matag kabatan-onan sa Miputak nga miapil, miboluntaryo, nakigkompetensya, nakakat-on, nangandoy, ug mituo sa atong hiniusang pagpaningkamot sa pagtukod og mas maayong komunidad alang sa kabatan-onan.
Kini usab alang sa masinabtanon ug matinabangong Barangay Council, nga gipangulohan sa atong Punong Barangay, Hon. Raymund G. Yu, nga kanunay naghatag og suporta ug pagsalig sa mga programa ug inisyatibo alang sa kabatan-onan.
Alang usab kini sa AVANT-GARDE Youth Organization, sa atong mga partner organizations, volunteers, mentors, stakeholders, ug community partners nga padayon nga mituo, misuporta, ug nakig-alayon sa atong mga paningkamot alang sa kaayuhan, paglambo, ug paghatag og mas daghang oportunidad sa kabatan-onan.
This is more than an award. This is Miputak being recognized for what it has always believed in: that the youth are not merely the leaders of tomorrowโthey are active partners in building a better community today.
From Barangay Miputak, Dipolog City, to the national stageโthis is our shared victory. ๐ต๐ญ
