Personally, this felt more like a teaser than a full episode. DDS or not, the real point was the portrayal of MR.

Peanut Gallery Media Network’s Martin Looter Fund episode really said, “Here’s the setup — bahala na mo mag-away sa comments.” HAHAHA

Literal nga gigutom ko after watching — not sure if that was because of the pacing or because the episode felt like one long appetizer disguised as a full meal. 😆

As Jourdan Sebastian says. Welcome to

good afternoon.

TO ALL ARTISTS IN TH ISLAND MEDYO LONG POST ITO!

I’ve always believed in this Bisaya phrase .

Like… just trust, hold on, keep going… even when things don’t make sense yet.

That’s actually why we used it as the title of our recent song.

We wrote it back during the pandemic…and then… everything changed when Typhoon Odette hit our home in Dinagat Islands in 2021.

After that, the song didn’t feel like just a song anymore… it felt real. Parang it carried everything we went through.

Then… life happened.

The melody just stayed there… quiet…almost like it was caged, you know? Like it was just meant for us.

But now… it’s finally out.

I worked with odygotthatcream on it…and we went through so many versions.Super limited lang ng gamit—old laptop, headphones, DIY mic…but we just kept going.

Then there’s jupiforeal…
he’s been singing for a while, joining competitions, chasing that dream…
and now, paunti-unti, he’s getting there—TV, radio… it’s happening.

And of course, billjune_ with llanerafryle…we started out just borrowing equipment, making things work with whatever we had, kasama yung Isla Dinagat Filmmakers Association…we never really stopped creating.

Now… he’s the one who shot and edited the music video. Full circle, in a way.

And I guess… that’s what this whole thing is about.

When artists are given even just a little opportunity… and the right support…you’ll really see what they’re capable of.

Salig Lang Ta…
It’s trust.
It’s timing.
It’s… waiting OUR turn and knowing it will come.

26/04/2026

I wrote Salig Lang Ta to send a message of hope during pandemic and typhoon back home, and now, the message transcends border.

To all the songwriters and creatives back home, please don’t stop creating—our time will come.
