“Safety doesn’t happen by accident. It is built through awareness, prevention, and responsible action.”

NCCC Associates successfully completed the FREE Safety Officer 1 Training last September 23, 2026, bringing together both regular and retrenched associates for a meaningful learning experience focused on workplace safety, hazard awareness, and safety responsibilities.

The training provided participants with practical knowledge on safety practices, hazard identification, prevention and control measures for possible risks, and the responsibilities of a Safety Officer. It also strengthened their understanding of how proactive safety measures can help create safer workplaces.

This training was conducted in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment DOLE XI and facilitated by our respected resource speakers from Oshnet XI: Mr. Lawrence T. Ang, President of OSHNET XI; Mr. Mamerto P. Avila, Safety Officer of Wee Eng Construction Inc. and Board of Director of OSHNET XI; and Engr. Yollibelle S. Aviñante, OSH Consultant. We sincerely appreciate them for generously sharing their knowledge, expertise, and valuable experiences, which helped enrich the learning experience of our participants.

A special appreciation also goes to the NCCC-Occupational Safety & Health Department - OSH, headed by OSH Manager Ma’am Methushellah A. Salvador, for initiating and providing this free training opportunity to NCCC Associates. We also extend our sincere thanks to our CHR Assistant Vice President, Ma’am Riolinda R. Lim, for her continued support in making this learning opportunity possible.

“The right skills can turn data into better results.”

The Leasing Department successfully completed its 5-Day Google Sheets Workshop, held online from July 13–17, 2026. The session provided participants with practical knowledge and skills in using Google Sheets more effectively, helping them improve their work processes, organize information, and enhance productivity.

This workshop was made possible through the initiative of Ma’am Melanie C. Bacala, AVP of Marketing, Entertainment, and Leasing Division, whose support and commitment to continuous learning helped make this workshop possible.

A special appreciation also goes to our Internal Guest Resource Speaker, Ma’am Mary Grace C. Montederamos, Entertainment Operations Supervisor of the Entertainment Department, for generously sharing her knowledge, skills, and practical insights throughout the session.

𝐆𝐑𝐈𝐓 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 | Batch 1, 2, and 3

In a world full of challenges and uncertainty, one thing we hold on to is GRIT.

The strength to stay grounded.
The courage to rise after every setback.
And the decision to keep going—even when it’s hard.

Across three batches of our GRIT Online Session, participants were reminded that grit is not just about enduring challenges, but about how we respond, adapt, and continue moving forward despite them.

Through meaningful discussions and shared experiences, we explored how mindset, emotions, and daily actions shape the way we face uncertainty—both at work and in life.

More than just a learning session, this became a moment of reflection— a reminder that behind every effort, every shift, and every challenge, there is a deeper reason WHY we keep going.

5S Good Housekeeping Workshop Batch 2 | April 23, 2026

Conducted in two batches, this workshop aimed to strengthen the commitment to workplace excellence through the principles of 5S: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Self-Discipline. It was initiated by Ma’am Riolinda R. Lim, AVP of the Corporate HR Division, and facilitated by Ma’am Methushellah A. Salvador, Manager of Occupational Safety and Health Department.

This learning session was more than just learning concepts, it was about putting them into action. Participants from Corporate HR Division actively engaged in discussions, hands-on activities, and team exercises that highlighted the importance of organization, cleanliness, and discipline in creating a safe and efficient work environment.

From identifying unnecessary items to establishing systematic arrangements and maintaining cleanliness, everyone contributed to building a culture that values continuous improvement and accountability.

A big thank you to all participants for your enthusiasm, teamwork, and dedication throughout the training. Your efforts are a strong step toward a more organized, productive, and sustainable workplace!

Retail Merchandising Workshop | March 11 and 24, 2026

Stronger retail operations begin with understanding risks and transforming them into opportunities for growth.

The NDS Retail Merchandising Workshop was conducted as a two-day learning session under Project ACKO, an initiative aimed at strengthening retail merchandising practices and promoting a more proactive approach to risk management across the organization.

The workshop provided participants with the opportunity to identify and assess potential risks related to retail merchandising, define appropriate risk treatment options and controls, and establish performance measures that support more effective and sustainable retail operations.

This meaningful learning experience would not have been possible without the guidance and expertise of Ma’am Susan Fortinez and the support of the entire Project ACKO team, whose dedication ensured the sessions were both insightful and impactful.

“Safety in the workplace starts with informed people and proactive action.”

Our NCCC CHR Occupational Safety and Health Department successfully completed the Job Hazard Analysis Workshop last March 23, 2026.

The workshop equipped participants with practical knowledge and deeper awareness of the importance of proactive hazard identification and timely action in preventing accidents and maintaining a safe and secure working environment.

We commend the participants for their active participation, engagement, and meaningful contributions throughout the workshop, which made the learning experience more interactive and insightful.

“Safe spaces are created when respect guides our words and actions.”

Our NCCC HR Business Operations 1 and 2, OSH Department, and NAMC Committee on Decorum and Investigation (CODI) have successfully completed the Safe Spaces Act Seminar (RA 11313), also known as the “Bawal Bastos Law”, last January 20, 2026.

The seminar strengthened the understanding of respectful behavior, personal boundaries, and shared responsibility in preventing harassment, highlighting that a safe workplace starts with mindful actions. These learnings empower everyone to take an active role in promoting dignity and safety in the workplace.

A heartfelt appreciation goes to all participants who actively engaged and shared valuable insights throughout the seminar, and to our invited speaker from the DOLE for generously sharing their knowledge, expertise, and real-world experiences.

Special thanks to Ma’am Methushellah Salvador, our OSH Department Manager, for initiating and making this important learning possible, and to Ma’am Riolinda R. Lim, our AVP, for her continued and consistent support of our learning initiatives.

Great presentations begin with confident professionals!

We wrapped up our last Learning and Development session of the year with a meaningful and empowering Presentation Skills Workshop for the Occupational Safety and Health Department, held on December 10–11, 2025.

Through interactive discussions and practical exercises, our Nurses enhanced their content organization and delivery techniques—strengthening their ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and effectively in promoting health and safety in the workplace.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated—your dedication made this a strong and inspiring close to our 2025 L&D journey.
