HANN FOUNDATION, INC. TURNS OVER INCLUSIVE LEARNING RESOURCE CENTER IN BAMBAN, TARLAC

Hann Foundation, Inc. (HFI) formally turned over the newly completed Inclusive Learning Resource Center (ILRC) to the DapDap Resettlement Elementary School (DRES) in Bamban, Tarlac last September 30, 2026. The ILRC is a specialized facility designed to cater to learners with diverse and special educational needs.

The area is designed to support the learners' varying needs with dedicated spaces for a Counselling Room, Developmental Assessment and Simulation Area, Audio Room, Speech Therapy Room, and Physical/Occupational Therapy Simulation Room. The project also included the improvement of the Alternative Learning System or ALS Room, ALS/ILRC Administration Room, a library, and Daily Living Skills Room. The improvements also include a Multi-Purpose Hall space for other school activities.

The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Local Government Unit, led by Mayor Joel Salting Jr., and the Department of Education RIII represented by Dr. Joel Guileb, (position), along with school officials, teachers, and parents of the DRES community, including PTA President Michelle Angeles and the School Governance Council Chairperson Maricel Castro. Representing HFI were Executive Director Ana Christi Galura, Foundation Manager Ronnel Golimlim and Foundation Administration Manager Mirasol Simon.

In her welcome remarks Dr. Grace Ann Maristela, DRES School Principal, expressed her heartfelt appreciation to HFI, sharing that the support and the new facility are a significant help to the school and its teachers in addressing the needs of students with special educational needs. Mayor Joel Salting Jr. shared that "no words can fully express our gratitude", recognizing the project as a testament to what can be achieved when everyone works together.

During the ceremony, Dr. Roberto Santos, the Public Schools District Supervisor of Bamban, described how HFI responded to the needs of the learners- with eyes that saw, ears that listened, hands that extended help and heart that cared. He described the ILRC as "buhay, liwanag at pag-asa" for learners toward a brighter future.

Dr. Joel Guileb emphasized education is supposed to be inclusive and that no learner will be left behind. He assured all stakeholders that the school will take care of the ILRC and ensure its use will make an impact in the holistic development of students.

HFI Executive Director Ana Christi Galura thanked the educators for their dedication to their vocation, and expressed hope that the ILRC will indeed be an instrument to molding good and responsible people, in line with the DepEd's slogan of "Magandang Buhay, Mabuting Tao". Education is not only about intellect, but moreso about character and values.

In a heartfelt presentation during the ceremony, ILRC students conveyed their gratitude through song and dance, sharing a touching message of thanks to HFI and everyone who helped make the project possible.

The ILRC redefines educational equity through true inclusivity. More than a facility, it provides a supportive environment where learners with diverse needs can develop their abilities, build confidence, and acquire essential skills for greater independence and contribute to society.

Through the collective efforts of all stakeholders, the ILRC stands as a shared commitment to ensuring that every child is given the opportunity to learn, grow, and reach their full potential, paving the way towards a brighter future.

PROJECT BAYANIHANN REACHES TARLAC

Over the past weeks, Hann Foundation, Inc. (HFI) provided assistance to communities affected by recent flooding in Pampanga and Tarlac by donating relief packages to some of the farthest barangays.

From the first leg of the distribution in Pampanga, to the succeeding relief operations in La Paz, Paniqui, Moncada and Capas in Tarlac province, our employee volunteers helped bring some comfort to affected families.

In total, 5,000 families benefitted from the relief distributions across Pampanga and Tarlac.

As we conclude this round of Project BayaniHANN, we thank everyone wo helped make each distribution possible, including our LGU partners and the Philippine Air Force-Clark. Thank you to our employee volunteers who shared their time and effort in this initiative. Together, we were able to bring a little help and comfort to families as they begin to recover and move forward.

HANN FOUNDATION, INC. AND SACRED HEART MEDICAL CENTER FORGE PARTNERSHIP TO SUPPORT CANCER PATIENTS

Hann Foundation, Inc. (HFI) and Sacred Heart Medical Center (SHMC) formalized a partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on September 25, 2026. This collaboration will provide aid to qualified patients undergoing treatment at the SHMC Cancer Center.

Under the terms of the agreement, financial assistance will be provided to eligible patients to cover the cost of their chemotherapy or radiation treatment. This is to offer support during what can be a challenging and costly journey for patients and their families. Through this endeavor, treatment becomes available for those in dire need, instead of a mere option.

The MOA signing was held during the celebration of the 17th Anniversary of SHMC, which was represented by Dr. Nenita Tan-Canlas, President and CEO; Dr. Maria Josefina Tan, Medical Director; Dr. Misael Cruz, Cancer Center Director. In attendance for HFI were Ana Christi G. Galura, Executive Director; and Foundation Administration Manager, Mirasol M. Simon.

As part of the partnership, HFI will also furnish and enhance the Cancer Center reception area and patient support group office. The space is envisioned to provide a comfortable place for patients and their companions to stay at while waiting for treatment. More importantly, it will be a space for human connection and support.

Through collaborations like this, HFI continues to strengthen its Health Pillar and work alongside institutions with the shared purpose of making quality healthcare more accessible to communities and individuals in need.

Hann Foundation, Inc. (HFI) reached out to families in San Simon, Sasmuan, Guagua, Masantol, Macabebe, and San Luis in Pampanga amidst the recent flooding in the province. As part of Project BayaniHANN, the signature disaster relief operations of HFI, we brought much-needed assistance to communities badly affected by Habagat.

From September 15 to 17, a total of 2,620 families received relief packages containing food and essential supplies to help them through the immediate challenges they face to be able to recover and start going back to their daily lives.

The distribution efforts were made possible through the dedication and selflessness of Hann employee volunteers. Their time and willingness to serve ensured that assistance reached the farthest communities in the most dire of circumstances. The project was also supported by local government units, community leaders, and the Philippine Air Force-Civil Military Operations.

For eight years, HFI has remained committed to standing with communities during times of need through Project BayaniHANN. While we may not be able to take away the difficulties brought by a disaster, we hope that these simple acts of kindness and solidarity can bring comfort and remind our kababayans that they are not alone.

BAYANIHANN 2026 | Guagua, Pampanga

In times of disaster, hope becomes stronger when we come together.

Through the 2026 BayaniHANN Disaster Relief Operation, Hann Foundation extended assistance to 400 families from Barangay Sta. Ursula, Municipality of Guagua, Pampanga, bringing much-needed relief supplies to families affected by the recent disaster.

This mission was made possible through the dedicated support of Hann Resorts Volunteers and our partners from the Philippine Air Force HADR. Together, we carried not only relief supplies, but also a message of solidarity, that no community should face difficult times alone.

For Hann Foundation, BayaniHANN is more than a relief operation. It is our commitment to be present when communities need us most.

To every volunteer who gave their time, energy, and compassion, maraming salamat! Your willingness to serve reminds us that being a bayani does not always require extraordinary acts. Sometimes, it simply means showing up, lending a hand, and caring for others.

Hann Foundation, Inc. (HFI) was honored as a Stakeholder-Partner at the 65th Founding Anniversary of the Air Defense Command (ADC) of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) held at the Officer's Club, Clark Air Base, last September 1, 2026.

The event was graced by the highest-ranking official of the PAF, its Commanding General, Lt. Gen. Arthur M. Cordura, who thanked HFI for its support of the Civil Military Operations of the Air Force. Also present was Maj. Gen. Ronie D. Petinglay, Commander, ADC, PAF.

HFI received recognition for Project EskwelaHANN, HFI's flagship education initiative that provides school supplies and educational support to young learners in the region. HFI and ADC were partners in delivering the much-needed school supplies to elementary students in far-flung areas of Pampanga and Tarlac. The award was received by HFI Executive Director, Ms. Ana Christi Galura.

HFI is grateful for the opportunity to work alongside the PAF ADC, an institution that is committed to excellence, nation-building, and protection of citizens. This complements HFI’s mission of creating meaningful and lasting impact in the communities we serve.
