Hann Foundation, Inc. (HFI) was honored as a Stakeholder-Partner at the 65th Founding Anniversary of the Air Defense Command (ADC) of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) held at the Officer's Club, Clark Air Base, last September 1, 2026.

The event was graced by the highest-ranking official of the PAF, its Commanding General, Lt. Gen. Arthur M. Cordura, who thanked HFI for its support of the Civil Military Operations of the Air Force. Also present was Maj. Gen. Ronie D. Petinglay, Commander, ADC, PAF.

HFI received recognition for Project EskwelaHANN, HFI's flagship education initiative that provides school supplies and educational support to young learners in the region. HFI and ADC were partners in delivering the much-needed school supplies to elementary students in far-flung areas of Pampanga and Tarlac. The award was received by HFI Executive Director, Ms. Ana Christi Galura.

HFI is grateful for the opportunity to work alongside the PAF ADC, an institution that is committed to excellence, nation-building, and protection of citizens. This complements HFI’s mission of creating meaningful and lasting impact in the communities we serve.

Hann Foundation, Inc. (HFI) officially turned over a newly constructed Health Station to Barangay Maruglo in Capas, Tarlac, bringing essential healthcare services closer to families in one of the province's farthest communities.

Built using container prefabricated technology, the Maruglo health station includes a Treatment and Consultation Room, Vaccination Room, Pharmacy, Barangay Health Workers’ Office, Reception Area, and even a Senior Citizen Center. The facility is fully equipped with all the necessary medical tools, supplies, and furnishings to serve the community.

HFI also donated a motorcycle with sidecar to serve as a Patient Transport Vehicle, particularly for Ayta residents from Sitio Kawayan, Sitio Flora and other sitios from remote locations.

The project was made possible with the cooperation and support of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) 790th ABG led by Lt. Col. Owen Avenido; Barangay Captain Lota Guanlao and BHW Head Elizabeth Layug of Barangay Maruglo; Mayor Roseller Rodriguez of Capas Tarlac and Dr. Franchette Reyes from the Municipal Health Office.

The turnover ceremony held last August 17 brought together various stakeholders from the public sector. In attendance were Ms. Marie Mason, Executive Assistant for External Affairs of Mayor Roseller Rodriguez; Dr. Franchette Reyes from the Municipal Health Office; Barangay Captain Lota Guanlao and members of the Barangay Council; Capas Chief of Police PLTCOL Alfie Salang; and PAF Chief Civil Military Operations, 790th ABG 2LT Kazztyves Sungguiyao. Representing HFI at the event were Executive Director Ana Christi Galura, Foundation Manager Ronnel Golimlim and Foundation Administration Manager Mirasol Simon.

The gathering underscored the importance of partnership and dialogue in addressing the needs of communities. Despite several logistical challenges, the different institutions came together with a shared humanitarian purpose. For the families of Maruglo, the health station fulfills a long-standing community aspiration for equitable healthcare closer to home.

The multi-million facility is the third health station completed by HFI in 2026, following the turnover of similar facilities in Barangay Anupul, Bamban, Tarlac, and to the Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Area (GIDA) of the Ayta Mag-Antsi community in Bamban. These HFI projects form part of its commitments under its Health Pillar, to make medical services more accessible to underserved communities.

HFI is the corporate social responsibility arm of the Hann Group.

On July 31, 2026, Hann Foundation, Inc. (HFI) formally turned over a newly renovated Barangay Health Station in Sitio Gayaman, Bamban, Tarlac, providing residents with a safer and better-equipped facility where they can access essential healthcare services close to home.

Recognizing the community’s need, HFI undertook the refurbishment of an existing but unused building at Sitio Gayaman and supplied the necessary medical equipment.

This renewed health station will play a vital role in addressing the everyday healthcare needs of the community, particularly expectant mothers, women, the elderly, and children.

We hope this will be a place where lives are nurtured and illnesses are prevented and treated. By investing in community health, we are investing in a brighter and more resilient future for all.

At HFI, we believe that meaningful change begins with responding to the genuine needs of the communities we serve. Through initiatives like this, and in close partnership with local stakeholders, we remain committed to creating lasting impact by supporting programs that promote human rights, dignity, and overall well-being.
