METRO CLARK ICT COUNCIL (MCICTC) General Membership Meeting 2025
Theme: โCybersecurity as Community Infrastructure: Building Trust, Equity, and Resilience in Smart Citiesโ
On October 28, the Metro Clark ICT Council convened its annual General Assembly and conducted the Election of Officers and Board of Directors. The event took place at the Multipurpose Hall of City College of Angeles (CCA). DR. FRANCISCO L. VILLANUEVA, JR. delivered the welcome remarks, followed by DR. JENNETH E. SARMIENTO, Officer-in-Charge President of CCA, who extended greetings to the participants and highlighted ongoing ICT innovations in both Angeles City and City College of Angeles. DR. GRACE FABROS-TYLER, the outgoing Chairman, provided an overview of the organization, its mission, initiatives, operational approach, and reaffirmed the Councilโs vision of โEnabling Metro Clark to be the Top Global ICT Destination.โ
ENGR. ANGEL REDOBLE, Chairman and Founding President of the Philippine Institute of Cyber Security Professionals (PICSPro) and former Group Chief Information Security Officer for ePLDT and Smart Communications, served as the keynote speaker underscores the Councilโs commitment to advancing secure and inclusive technological environments.
The Oath Taking was officiated by ENGR. ANGEL REDOBLE. The election of new officers and board members was facilitated by MS. ELENITA ORDONIO, Director of DTI Pampanga and Member of the MCICTC Advisory Board. The individuals and institutions listed below have been duly elected as the board members.
The newly elected board, representing a cross-section of academic institutions, industry leaders, and private sector stakeholders, reflects the Council's ongoing dedication to fostering collaboration within the ICT community. Their diverse backgrounds and expertise are expected to drive forward the Councilโs mission of promoting digital transformation and cybersecurity awareness in the region, while striving toward the vision of establishing Metro Clark as the premier Global ICT destination.
