Can Pampanga become the next big tech launchpad for Filipino talent?

$2-Billion Tech Hub Set To Rise In Pampanga For New Graduates

A massive global technology and innovation hub is set to rise on a 200-hectare site covering Angeles City and Mexico, Pampanga, with plans to host more than 100 international tech companies. The $2-billion project aims to create a Silicon Valley–like ecosystem where new graduates can build careers in IT and related industries.

Businessman Dennis Uy said the project will boost economic activity in Pampanga, describing it as his way of giving back to Angeles City, where he grew up and started his business journey. He added that while Filipinos thrive abroad in global tech hubs, the country must build a strong local ecosystem to offer similar opportunities at home.
