Here are some snaps from the 40th Anniversary celebration.

Christmas party-ish? Same vibe but the red, beyond the symbolic color for the 40th year, represents the burning passion of the brotherhood to serve. Four decades strong and we are ready to make the flame even brighter in the years ahead.

𝗛𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟰𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲

In celebration of its 40th Anniversary, Alpha Phi Omega – Theta Alpha Chapter successfully conducted the formal turnover of the Sitio Hall in Brgy. San Andres, Catbalogan City, Samar on August 21, 2026 at Sitio Nasunugan, Brgy. San Andres, Catbalogan City, which will soon be transformed into the APO Community Learning Hub and formally inaugurated in the coming months. The activity was made even more meaningful as around 80 children from the community enjoyed a free ice cream service, bringing simple joy to the celebration.

More than a physical space, the Learning Hub is envisioned to become a place where children, ALS learners, and other community members can read and be encouraged to pursue their education. This brings learning opportunities closer to those who need them most.

As the Chapter enters another chapter of its journey, this initiative affirms that its 40 years of brotherhood are best celebrated through service that creates lasting impact while renewing its commitment to remain present and responsive to the needs of the communities it hopes to serve.

Present during the activity to represent the barangay was Hon. Ten Jabien, barangay councilor.

Forty years of Leadership, Friendship, and Service and still building spaces where hope and learning can grow.

𝟰𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴. 𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴.

A fitting way to celebrate 40 years of Leadership, Friendship, and Service is by giving back to the community that continues to give meaning to our brotherhood.

Tomorrow, August 21, 2026, as Alpha Phi Omega – Theta Alpha Chapter marks its 40th Anniversary, we celebrate not only the years behind us but the kind of legacy we hope to leave behind. Through a book donation activity, with additional donations from APO ARME and APO Bahrain, we begin laying the groundwork for transforming the Sitio Hall into an APO Community Learning Hub, a space where ALS learners and other community members can read and learn, and who knows, be encouraged to continue pursuing their education. And because service can also come in simple moments of joy, we will share free ice cream with the children of the community. These will be held at Brgy. Andres, Catbalogan City.

Forty years deserve more than a celebration.

They call us back to the reason we proudly wear the Greek letters in the first place which is to be of service and leave communities better than we found them.

This is our thanksgiving.

This is the brotherhood we choose to be.

LOOK: Alpha Phi Omega - Theta Alpha Chapter successfully conducted its Mass Orientation earlier today, August 6, 2026, at the SSU Gymnasium. A number of interested Tradesmen signed up for the challenge to REIMAGINE fraternities, one that is at the frontline of promoting services.

The chapter is still open for small group or one-on-one orientations for those who are interested in joining the brotherhood. Reach us through this page or any member you know for the application form.

But forty years should not only invite us to look back. It should also challenge us to imagine what comes next.

This 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, we invite you to 𝗥𝗘𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗘, a MASS ORIENTATION, to see brotherhood not only as a legacy we inherit but as a responsibility we continuously redefine.
