Learning today, preparing for the veterinary profession tomorrow! 💚

Held last October 5 at the Anatomy and Pharmacology-Physiology Laboratory Rooms, Scrub Ready provided participants with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn essential veterinary skills.

UEP-SAVER extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the participants for their enthusiasm and willingness to learn. To our residents who facilitated the training, thank you for generously sharing your knowledge, skills, and time. We also extend our sincere appreciation to our kind professors for allowing us to use the laboratory rooms and for supporting this learning initiative.

May this experience inspire us to continue learning, honing our skills, and preparing ourselves for the responsibilities of the veterinary profession.

Happy birthday to our demure sissy! Today is all about celebrating you—your gentle spirit, your quiet confidence, and the way you make everything feel a little softer and sweeter just by being around. You carry yourself with so much grace, but we all know there’s a whole lot of sparkle behind that calm exterior. Enjoy your day, soak up every bit of love, and keep being effortlessly iconic. 🎀✨🎂

🌴☀️ 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐑 𝐈𝐍 𝐒𝐄𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑 | 𝐔𝐄𝐏–𝐒𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐓 𝟐𝟓 ☀️🌴

Twenty-five years of UEP–SAVER is more than a milestone. It is a collection of generations, experiences, friendships, and stories that have continued to shape the organization through the years.

Our 25th anniversary celebration was made even more meaningful by the presence of SAVER alumni who returned to where part of their veterinary journey began. Coming from different batches and various fields of veterinary medicine, our alumni brought with them not only their experiences from the profession, but also stories, insights, and memories that they generously shared with the current generation.

The celebration became a meeting point between the past and the present. Conversations went beyond careers and professional experiences, as alumni and students exchanged stories, caught up with one another, and simply enjoyed the company of fellow SAVERs. It was a reminder that while our paths may eventually take us in different directions, the connections formed through SAVER can remain.

For 25 years, UEP–SAVER has been part of the journey of aspiring veterinarians who continue to learn, serve, and find their place in the profession. Each generation has added something of its own, leaving behind experiences and memories that become part of the organization's continuing story.

As we look back on the years that have passed, we also look forward to the generations still to come.

May UEP–SAVER continue to be a place where knowledge is shared, friendships are formed, experiences are passed on, and every generation has the opportunity to contribute to something that lasts beyond their time as students.

Here’s to 25 years of UEP–SAVER, and to everyone who has been part of the journey. 💚

Ready for a new adventure? Here we go! 🐾🩺

The Society for the Advancement of Veterinary Education and Research – UEP Chapter (UEP–SAVER) is a student organization that helps future veterinarians learn, develop their skills, grow professionally, and serve the community beyond the classroom. 🩺📚

At the heart of everything we do are three core values:

⭐ 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐅𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐌
🏆 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄
🤝 𝐁𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐃

Through seminars, skills trainings, conventions, and other learning opportunities, we help students develop their knowledge and skills. Beyond that, SAVER also takes part in community initiatives such as free vaccination drives, awareness programs, free checkups, and other activities that bring veterinary service closer to the community. 🐾💉🩺

Every activity is another opportunity to learn, serve, grow, and journey together.

🍄 𝐌𝐀𝐌𝐌𝐀 𝐌𝐈𝐀! There's more to this adventure than meets the eye! 👀

Join us for the 𝐔𝐄𝐏–𝐒𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 and discover what UEP–SAVER is all about, what we do, and what awaits you this academic year.

And just like any Mario adventure, there are surprises waiting along the way! 🍄⭐🪙❓

For those who participate, you might encounter Coins, Question Blocks, Mushrooms, Stars, and other surprises along the way. 👀🎁

And if you make it all the way to the end…

🏁 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑-𝐔𝐏! 🏁

🎟️ 𝐒𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐑𝐀𝐅𝐅𝐋𝐄 🎟️

Every participant gets ONE raffle entry for a chance to win:

🥇 1st Prize: Surgical Gloves
🥈 2nd Prize: Sutures
🥉 3rd Prize: Syringes

🎁 𝐁𝐎𝐍𝐔𝐒 𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑-𝐔𝐏𝐒: Three (3) Mystery Packages!

📌 𝐑𝐀𝐅𝐅𝐋𝐄 𝐌𝐄𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐒
• Winners will be selected randomly during the raffle draw.
• Each participant can only win once.
• Winners must be present when their names are called. If a winner is absent, another name will be drawn.

🍄 The raffle happens at the END of the orientation!

So don't warp away just yet. Don't leave the level early. 👀🎮

Stayyyy until the end… you never know what Question Block you'll hit! 🍄❓⭐

🐾 𝐃𝐈𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖?

Dogs and cats are not the only animals that can carry and transmit rabies. Rabies is a viral disease that affects mammals and can also infect bats, livestock, and other wild animals. It is most commonly transmitted through the saliva of an infected animal, particularly through bites.

As a One Health disease, rabies requires collaboration among veterinary and human healthcare professionals, animal owners, communities, and government agencies. From vaccinating animals and promoting responsible pet ownership to ensuring timely medical care after exposure, every sector has a role in preventing rabies and protecting both animal and human health.

This World Rabies Day, let us remember that we are .
