SUCCESSFUL CONDUCT OF AMPING NEGOSYO
Livelihood Training-Workshop on Banana and Cassava-Based Products

December 18–19, 2025
The AMPING NEGOSYO: Livelihood Training-Workshop on Banana and Cassava-Based Products was successfully conducted through the collaborative efforts of the Bohol Island State University, particularly the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) Program. The two-day training empowered members of the Malingin Hills Farmers Association Inc. by equipping them with practical skills in food processing, product development, and alternative livelihood creation using locally abundant crops.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the following individuals for their invaluable support and contributions:

🌟Mr. Gary D. Torreon, BSHM Chairperson (Choco Latte), for granting us permission to use the utensils, tools, and equipment for the skills training.
Special recognition is also given to the selected BSHM student facilitators who actively led the demonstration and hands-on activities, headed by Mr. Epifanio Cadenas, HoMaGE Extension Manager, and Ms. Rhea Mae M. Cañoneo, HoMaGE Extension Assistant Manager.
Above all, we sincerely thank Mr. Ambrocio G. Dasoc, President of the Malingin Hills Farmers Association Inc., for the trust, meaningful partnership, and generous hospitality extended the extension team throughout the conduct of the activity.
