The afternoon session of the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence Seminar continued with high energy and active participation, as students brought learning to life through role-playing activities. These performances showcased the six service touchpoints where excellent service can be experienced, while fully embodying the 7Ms of Filipino Service Excellence: MakaDiyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan, Makabansa, Masayahin, May Bayanihan, and May Pag-asa. Through these simulations, students demonstrated not only skill but also values-driven service rooted in the Filipino identity.

The discussion further progressed with The G.U.E.S.T. Technique, emphasizing the importance of Greeting and Engaging guests, Understanding their needs, Educating them clearly, Satisfying their concerns, and Thanking them sincerely. This was followed by discussing Heart to Service, which highlighted the H.E.A.R.T. Method in handling complaints: Hearing them out, Empathizing, Apologizing, Resolving issues, and Thanking the guest. Together, these modules strengthened the students’ competence, confidence, and compassion in delivering service excellence.

The afternoon session reinforced that true service goes beyond procedures it comes from the heart, guided by values, and expressed through meaningful actions.

β€œService with values creates impact that lasts.”
