Small steps spark endless hope. ๐ฏ๏ธ
On AIDS Candlelight Memorial Day, we light candles to remember those who have been lost to HIV/AIDS and pledge to end the epidemic. Candles are lit for every life taken, to remind us of our commitment to prevention, treatment and equality. These wavering flames represent communities' love and strength around the world.
We come together here not only to mourn, but to stand as one as human beings; stigma is not relevant in this light, all there is are hope and solidarity. We celebrate history, inspire transformation from remembrance, and craft a better future together.
