On 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗜𝗦𝗗𝗔 𝗚𝗨𝗦𝗔 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗢𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 (𝗜𝗚𝗔) came together for 𝗜𝗚𝗔 𝗦𝗔 𝗞𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗬𝗢, a clean-up drive dedicated to promoting cleanliness, environmental responsibility, and a stronger sense of community in Gusa. With every piece of litter collected and every corner cleaned, we were reminded that creating a cleaner environment begins with the simple decision to care and to take part.

The activity may have been filled with sweat, dirt, and hard work, but it was also filled with camaraderie, purpose, and the fulfillment of knowing that our small efforts can create a meaningful difference. A clean community is not built by words alone—it is built by people who are willing to lend their hands and take action.

Our heartfelt appreciation to the corresponding officers who joined and contributed their time and effort to make this initiative possible:

𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝, 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥

A clean-up drive is more than just showing up — it is about arriving ready to work, ready to sweat, and ready to serve. The streets of Gusa will not clean themselves, but with the right tools and the right hearts, we can restore its dignity one piece of litter at a time.

Before you head to the meet-up point, make sure you have the following in your bag or in your hands:

🧹 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀: broom, rake, lagaraw/sanggot (for heavier vegetation), and garbage bag or sako for collecting waste.

🛡️ 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗚𝗲𝗮𝗿: gloves to shield your hands, arm sleeves for sun protection, and a hat to keep the morning heat off your face.

👕 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁: a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated, an extra shirt for after the activity, and comfortable cleaning clothes that you do not mind getting dirty.

Come as you are — but come ready. Let us sweep, gather, cut, and haul until Gusa shines again. See you there ka-IGA!

𝐈𝐆𝐀 𝐒𝐀 𝐊𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐘𝐎: 𝐀 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧-𝐔𝐩 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐮𝐬𝐚

There is a particular kind of silence that visits the streets just before sunrise — a sacred window between darkness and daylight where change does not announce itself but simply begins. The Iga sa Kalimpuo Clean-Up Drive is not merely an environmental initiative; it is a declaration that the streets of Gusa belong to us, and if they belong to us, then we have a duty to restore whatever dignity they have lost under the weight of neglect.

This will not be glamorous. There will be sweat, there will be dirt, and there will be the humbling sensation of doing something that will never make it to a headline. But there will also be camaraderie, purpose, and the quiet pride of looking back at a stretch of road that now looks entirely different from how you found it. The earth does not need your words. It needs your hands.

📅 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

📍 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁-𝘂𝗽: 𝗚𝘂𝘀𝗮 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘅𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁

Let us prove that a cleaner world is possible — and that possibility starts with a single Saturday morning when a group of strangers decided to stop waiting and start doing. See you at dawn. 🌱
